Karim Benzema won the 2022 Ballon d’Or award as the world’s best soccer player. He won the award in convincing fashion over fellow top contenders Sadio Mane and Kevin De Bruyne. You can look back at the odds to win the 2022 Ballon d’Or award, as well as how they changed, below.

The 2021 finalists were Lionel Messi (PSG, Argentina) and Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich, Poland). Messi won the final points margin by a 613-580 count to win his seventh Ballon d’Or. He’s now won each of the past two awards in 2021 and 2019. No trophy was awarded in 2020 because of the coronavirus.
