I tracked the 2024 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship odds for all drivers as they become available and will chart them on this page. The graphs below were generated by calculating the average from a selection of our most trusted sportsbooks. Max Verstappen opened the season averaging -368 and remained a favorite right up until he clinched the title in Las Vegas.

- [Nov 25]: A fifth-place finish in Las Vegas was enough for Max Verstappen to win his second-consecutive F1 Drivers Championship! All Verstappen needed to clinch the title was to finish ahead of Lando Norris and that’s exactly what he did, as Norris finished just behind in sixth.
- [Oct 21]: Verstappen’s odds have improved for the first time in a while following his performance at United States GP, where he won the sprint before finishing third in the main race. His average odds now sit at -463, not too far ahead of Lando Norris at +306.
- [May 27]: Charles Leclerc’s win in Monaco has shortened his Driver’s Championship odds from +3600 to +1100, as he sits just 31 points behind leader Max Verstappen.
- [May 21]: Max Verstappen may have picked up his fifth win of the season, but the second and third-place finishes at the Emilia Romagna GP of Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc has seen their respective championship odds shorten to averages of +3180 and +4080.
- [May 6]: Lando Norris has claimed his first Formula 1 victory! By holding off Max Verstappen to win the Miami Grand Prix, Norris has moved into a tie fourth in the drivers’ standings as his championship odds shorten significantly, from +11000 to +4500.
- [Mar 25]: Though Verstappen failed to finish a race for the first time in 30 months, his average championship odds shortened to -990 following the Australian GP. Following his win, Carlos Sainz Jr saw his odds climb from +6175 to +1950.
- [Feb 26]: Max Verstappen opened at -376 and now sits at -612 to capture his fourth straight Drivers Championship ahead of next weekend’s season opener in Bahrain.
