Real Madrid seems to have the series locked as they have a 3-0 lead when they visit Türk Telekom Arena to take Galatasaray, this Tuesday at 14:45 PM ET for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.
Galatasaray looks to have their playmaker Burak Yilmaz for this game as he was booked in the first leg for simulated a foul. “Burak has done nothing wrong, he has not dived,” Sporting director Sedat Dogan told reporters today.
“He has fallen in the area because Ramos stepped on him and we think that this is not a yellow card and that it should be removed. We have called UEFA, and I think that we will have news as soon as possible.”
UEFA will announce on Monday if Yilmaz could play on Tuesday or not.
For Real Madrid, this season is winning the Champions League or bust. “We are in good form at the moment. We are through to the final of the ‘Copa del Rey’ and we’re a stone’s throw from being in the semi-finals of the Champions League. We lost the league battle with Barcelona too soon, but some of the best clubs in the world play in this League”, coach Jose Mourinho said.
Gonzalo Higuian just scored a tremendous goal during the weekend, plus, he scored against Galatarasay in the first leg, but he doesn’t if he will be back for next season.
Galatasaray is listed +375, Real Madrid -145 and the Draw pays +275.
