Tenth seed Rybakina is the favorite heading into her quarterfinal match against Muchova. The 23-year old has breezed through her first three opponents, and will look to be doing the same here.

Karolina Muchova vs Elena Rybakina Prediction

Muchova and Rybakina haven’t played each other since 2019. Their one and only match came in the opening round of the US Open, where Muchova won in straight sets.

Muchova earned her spot in the quarters after a marathon of a match that went the distance. She beat out fellow Czech Marketa Vondrousova. This will be her first quarterfinal appearance in the desert.

Ryabkina defeated her round of 16 opponent with ease, beating Varvara Gracheva 6-3, 6-0.

Right now, Rybakina is just playing better tennis than Muchova. She’s blown through the first few rounds, showing no signs of taking her foot off the gas. Not only has she been able to win fairly quickly, she’s also been impressive, not allowing herself to play down to any level, and keeping a high intensity of play.

Look for Rybakina to take this one in straight sets.

Iga Swiatek vs Sorana Cirstea Odds

No surprise here, Swiatek is the heavy favorite heading into her quarterfinal match against Cirstea. The Pole is listed at -2100 to win her match

Iga Swiatek vs Sorana Cirstea Prediction

This will only be the second match between Swiatek and Cirstea. The two faced off in the round of 16 at the Australian Open last year. After dropping the first set, Swiatek managed to put together a comeback to win that match in three.

As expected Swiatek has got through her first three matches with ease. Bianca Andreescu gave her a bit of a test in the second round, but nothing that the No. 1 seed couldn’t handle. She still managed to defeat the Canadian in straight sets.

Most recently, the 21-year-old is coming off a dominant win over Emma Raducanu. She defeated the Brit 6-3, 6-1, while maintaining a 88-win percentage on her first serve.

Cirstea upset fifth seed Caroline Garcia to book her spot in the quarters. The Romanian went on to win 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. The 32-year-old has been impressive all week, but is it enough to end Swiatek’s run?

Swiatek continues to just play on another level, where most players can’t touch her. She’s won 15 of her last 18 matches and has yet to see one of her matches go three sets. Her ability to shift into a different gear is impressive to watch, so even if Cirstea looks to gain some momentum, Swiatek will make sure it won’t last.
