It’s Lazio vs Juventus in Serie A Week 29 on Saturday, April 8. It all kicks off in Rome’s Stadio Olimpico at 2:45 am ET. The home team starts as plus-money favorites but are they the best bet for your Lazio vs Juventus prediction?
It’s been a turbulent season for the visitors but despite being handed a 15-point deduction due to financial irregularities they are still in with an outside chance of earning a place in next season’s Champions League. For the second-placed hosts, a UCL place is theirs for the taking.
We preview our Lazio vs Juventus picks, look at the odds, and offer some analysis, team news, and Lazio vs Juventus predictions below.

Lazio vs Juventus Over/Under and Spread
With the benchmark set at 2.5 goals in the game, the bookies have pitched the under at a not-very-tempting -205 and the over at a more generous +165, reflecting how tight and potentially low-scoring they expect this game to be.
Lazio vs Juventus Preview
Lazio’s 2-0 win away at Monza at the weekend saw them stay second in the Serie A table, albeit a massive 16 points behind runaway leaders, Napoli. Their aim remains a top-four finish that will deliver them Champions League soccer next season, but with ten games to go it’s still not a done deal.
While Lazio has the best defensive record in the league – 19 goals conceded in their 28 games, including 17 clean sheets – they are still under pressure from teams behind them, with sixth-placed Atalanta only seven points adrift in the battle for those lucrative UCL places.

One Defeat in 12 for the Biancocelesti
The Biancocelesti have hit a good run of form at the right time and have lost just once in their last 12 league games – a 2-0 home defeat by Atalanta – although they did suffer disappointment in the Europa Conference League where they were knocked out in the round-of-16 by AZ Alkmaar.
A big plus for Lazio as they approach this massive game is the fact they are one of only three teams to beat Napoli in the league this season – their stunning 1-0 win in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona coming just over a month ago.
Stormy Night in Juve’s Allianz Stadium
An already stormy season for Juve, things took another twist in midweek in their Coppa Italia semifinal first-leg against Inter Milan in midweek. A fairly nondescript game sprang into life in the closing stages with a goal apiece and concluded with stormy scenes that saw Inter’s Romelu Lukaku and Samir Handanovic, and Juve’s Juan Cuadrado all sent off.
Juve will be hoping to restore some calm during their visit to the Stadio Olimpico, as they seek to close a six-point gap between themselves and fourth-placed Inter in the hunt for that UCL place next season.

In-Form Juventus
Tuesday’s draw with Inter ended a run of five straight wins for the Old Lady and so, like Lazio, they come into this off the back of some good form. Let’s not forget, were it not for the points deduction they would be above Lazio and in second place. When these two met earlier in the season in Turin, Juve won 3-0.
A win here for Juve would set them up perfectly for a nine-game charge that could yet see them playing in Europe next season and, in addition, they also have the chance of glory in both the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.

Lazio vs Juventus Prediction
With both teams in good form, this one’s on a knife edge but this is a Juve side that’s on a roll and determined, against the odds, to be playing in next season’s Champions League.
With Pogba and Bonucci both waiting in the wings, this is a Juve team that has strength in depth and a strong bench. For those reasons, for me, there is value here in the away win at +180.
Lazio vs Juventus Picks: Juve to win (+180) / Over 2.5 goals (+165)
