On Tuesday afternoon, keep your eyes peeled for Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham in the Champions League. Of course, we are now at the snake part of the group stages, where teams will play back-to-back fixtures against the same opponents. In turn, Group D could literally turn on its head in the next two weeks. This match gives both teams a good claim for one of the two qualifying spots.
Firstly, Tottenham will be looking to dispel a patch of inconsistent form. A lousy defeat away to Sporting was washed away by a 6-2 thrashing of Leicester City in the Premier League. However, Antonio Conte’s side followed it up with another disastrous performance in the North London Derby, losing 2-1.
Conversely, Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to build on an impressive run of form. Oliver Glasner’s side has taken down Marseille, Stuttgart and Union Berlin in recent weeks. This display is a good sign for Die Adler, considering their mediocre start to the campaign.

Furthermore, both of these teams have plus moneyline Champions League odds for Tuesday’s contest. But, Tottenham are the marginal favorites with odds of +103. In all honestly, it is tough to favor Tottenham, as they travel to the raucous, Waldstadion. Spurs are only 1-2-2 away from home this season, with their only win coming to a struggling Nottingham Forest side.
Over/Under & DNB Odds
Moreover, the over/under on 2.5 total goals could go either way. In their four combined Champions League matches so far, this has only hit once so far. Nonetheless, I do believe both teams will score in this one (BTTS has odds of -145), which leans me towards the over. Spurs will surely bag at least a goal, and Frankfurt has an underrated offense with the likes of Daichi Kamada, Randal Kolo Muani and Jesper Lindstrom.

The only other play I am interested in is the Frankfurt draw no bet with odds of +150. This play still has a ton of value and takes part of the risk out of the equation.
Expect This Match to Get Spursy
So, why does it feel like Frankfurt have the edge going into Tuesday? First, look at the fixture list for Tottenham both before and after Tuesday’s match. If you look at the prior results, you could argue their most impressive performance was the two-all draw versus Chelsea. In reality, their strength of schedule so far is laughable to say the least.

Now, looking forward, their schedule is loaded with four games in only 11 days. Surely this means Conte will finally have to rotate some of his key talent. This will not all happen on Tuesday, but the rotation will start, probably with the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Yves Bissouma. On top of that, Spurs have lost their last four Champions League matches to German opponents, being outscored 14-3 in the process.

Frankfurt are also not a side that is scared of the big dogs. They took down first-place, Union Berlin, this weekend in the Bundesliga, in a snatch-and-grab two-nil victory, even having to play a man down for 20 minutes. Die Adler will want to make up for their atrocious home opener in the Champions League as well, which should play a factor.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Projected Lineups and Injuries

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Prediction
Overall, my best bet for your Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham picks is in fact the Eintracht Frankfurt draw no bet (which is a push if they draw) with odds of +150. The value here is just too hard to pass on, given Spurs’ away record this season.
