With just three matchdays left in the Premier League campaign, in-form Chelsea host a struggling Arsenal side at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, May 12th, kick-off 3:15 PM EST.

The Blues are fresh off a thrilling victory over league leaders Manchester City as they spoiled their title party for another week. The Gunners meanwhile, officially relegated West Brom with a 3-1 win at the Emirates.

The Blues have now conceded just three times in their last 10 competitive matches. The backline has been rock-solid and they will be looking to shut down a Gunners attack that has been rather uninspiring all term. To boot, the hosts haven’t lost at Stamford Bridge to Arsenal in eight meetings, with their last defeat against them coming way back in October of 2011.

Disappointment for Arsenal

The 2020/21 campaign has been an absolute write-off for the Gunners. They’ve missed out on any shape or form of European football for the first time in 26 years. Despite Chelsea looking practically unbeatable right now, there will be some confidence for Arsenal. The side has collected six points in the last two clashes with the Blues and if they can do so again on Wednesday, it would be the first time Arteta’s squad does the double over their English rivals since 2003/04.
