There are 10 second-leg ties in Europe’s Champions League first qualifying round on Tuesday.

Among the intriguing clashes as the continent’s smaller nation sides battle it out are Sherriff Tiraspol vs Zrinjski Mostar, Rigas SK vs HJK Helsinki and Qarabag FK vs Lech Poznan.

Sherriff Tirsapol vs Zrinjski Mostar Pick

There will be a chance for Moldova’s champions to set up another great Champions League adventure in Sherriff Tiraspol vs Zrinjski Mostar on Tuesday.

Sheriff famously defeated Real Madrid 2-1 away from home last season after reaching the group stages.

They are taking on the Bosnian champions Zrinjski after a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

At DraftKings, Sherriff is the favorite for a home win at -140.

Meanwhile, Zrinjski is priced at +450. The draw after 90 minutes is at +250. The kick-off is at 1:00 pm ET.

It was slightly dominated by Sherriff which enjoyed 54 percent possession against the 46 percent of Zrinjski.

However, Zrinjski had five goal attempts compared with four for the visiting Sherriff side.

Last season Sherriff defeated Red Star Belgrade and Dinamo Zagreb on the way to reaching the group stage.

It then finished third in a group comprising of Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Shakthar Donetsk.

Stepping down the Europa League, it was eliminated after a second-leg penalty shoot-out by Portuguese side Braga.

By contrast, Zrinjski has not competed in the qualifying rounds since 2018-19.

Rigas FS vs HJK Helsinki Pick

Two teams that are deep into their summer domestic league programs will collide in Rigas FS vs HJK Helsinki.

Finnish champion HJK won the first leg last week by 1-0 thanks to a goal from Manuel Martic.

Rigas is the Latvian champion after winning its first-ever title last year.

Despite the first leg defeat, Rigas is the favorite for a win at DraftKings at +140.

Meanwhile, HJK is priced at +210 with the draw at +220 – kicking off at 11:30 am ET.

HJK is the only Finnish team to play in the full UCL competition beyond qualifying and preliminary rounds.

Moreover, in the first leg, there was a more or less evenly contested game with HJK holding 52 percent of the possession compared to 48 percent for the visitors.

Helsinki had six goal attempts compared with five for Rigas.

These teams previously met twice in closed-season friendlies in early 2020. Helsinki was a 2-1 winner in the first meeting with Rigas succeeding 2-0 in the second game.

Furthermore, Helsinki currently sits in second place in the Finnish league after eight wins, three draws and three defeats.

Meanwhile, Rigas is also in second place in the Latvian league after 14 wins, three draws and three defeats.

It scored a 4-0 win over Spartaks Jurmala in the Latvian Cup last weekend.

Qarabag FK vs Lech Poznan Pick

A second-round tie against FC Zurich awaits the winner of the tie between Azerbaijan’s FK Qarabag and Poland’s Lech Poznan.

There was a 1-0 win for Poznan in Poland in last week’s first leg thanks to a goal from captain Michail Ishak.

However, Qarabag was generally regarded as the better side – enjoying 55 percent possession against Poznan’s 45 percent.

Therefore, Qarabag has been made a wide favorite for a second-leg win by DraftKings at -120.

The Polish visitor, meanwhile, is rated at +330 with the draw at +265. Kick-off is at noon pm ET.

Qarabag also enjoyed eight goal attempts compared with six for Poznan in the first leg. And it had 40 dangerous attacks as opposed to 25 for the Polish outfit.

The first leg was the first meeting of these teams.

Azeri league and cup Double holder Qarabag was the first Azeri team to reach the UCL group stage in 2017-18.

It played three warm-up friendlies in June – drawing twice and winning once.

Poznan won twice and lost once in three warm-ups in June.

However, it was beaten 2-0 by Rakow in the Polish Super Cup game last weekend.

Qarabag will look to make home advantage count after its good performance in Poland.
