BVB is a massive favorite with -215 Bundesliga odds for an implied win probability of 68.25%. Wolfsburg is priced at +450 and has just an 18.18% chance of coming out victorious. Dortmund vs Wolfsburg Preview
Although Dortmund has already exited the Champions League, they have a realistic chance at actually winning the Bundesliga title for the first time in a number of years. That’s exactly why this clash is so important. Sure, Bayern could drop points this weekend, but the Black and Yellows put themselves in a prime position with a victory Sunday.
Edin Terzic’s men failed to produce the goods against 17th-place Bochum on matchday 30 though, settling for a lone point. The visitors conceded in the fifth minute before youngster Karim Adeyemi equalized just two minutes later, but Dortmund couldn’t find a winner.
🎙️ Edin Terzic:
"In the last few weeks there have been changes at the top. We know that we don't have it in our own hands at the moment, but we can increase the odds with 4 wins so we want to keep the pressure on." pic.twitter.com/rMMq8Je9Bp

The chances were there, however. BVB had 66% of the ball, 22 attempts, and seven on target. They absolutely outplayed a side far less talented, but the ultimate outcome was very disappointing. That being said, Dortmund is absolutely dominant on home soil, going 12-1-1 this term, which is good news come Sunday.
Wolfsburg still has the opportunity to play in Europe in some capacity in 2023-24, currently occupying seventh spot and just two points off Bayer Leverkusen, who are in sixth. Their form at the moment is very impressive as well, not only notching two straight victories but outscoring their opponents 8-1.

The attack is thriving while the backline is rock solid. Against Mainz last Sunday, frontman Jonas Wind netted a brace to take his tally to six goals on the season, while defender Sebastiaan Bornauw also scored. The Wolves can play spoiler to Dortmund’s title hopes and help their own case in the chase for Europe on matchday 31.

Projected Lineups & Injuries
Dortmund Projected Starting XI: Kobel; Ryerson, Sule, Hummels, Guerreiro; Bellingham, Can, Brandt; Malen, Haller, Adeyemi
Injuries: Morey Bauza, Schlotterbeck, Duranville, Meunier, Coulibaly
Wolfsburg Projected Starting XI: Casteels; Bornauw, Guilavogui, Fischer; Baku, Gerhardt, Arnold, Kaminski; Svanberg, Wimmer; Wind
Injuries: Lacroix, Nmecha, Paredes, Otavio
Dortmund is still dealing with a host of absences, while Wolfsburg is also without four players. But, both starting XIs are relatively similar to last weekend.
Borussia Dortmund vs Wolfsburg Prediction
This should be a very entertaining fixture. Wolfsburg is playing great football and Dortmund needs a victory badly. After an underwhelming showing last Friday though, I expect the hosts to come out and put on a show at Signal Iduna. With the moneyline offering little value, I’m looking at a BVB win and both teams to score.
Pick: Dortmund to win & both teams to score (+140)
