The number one team in the country will try to avoid a surprise as the Florida Gators take on the Missouri Tigers in the SEC tournament championship, this Friday 1 PM ET at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

Florida has a 29-2 record and ended 18-0 against SEC teams. “If we’re playing in Orlando, that’s great,” Gators’ head coach Billy Donovan said. “But our goal right now would be to try to put three games together and play in a championship game on Sunday.”

Donovan is not happy with the way the NCAA is handling the schedule.

“None of that stuff is obviously ideal. We’ll have to go out there and play (Thursday) regardless,” Donovan said. “That was just something I would say we need to look at. But I think our guys will be excited about playing. Regardless where it is, we’ll have time to get prepared and ready to play.”

Missouri wants to get the upset to enter the NCAA tournament strong and confident. They finished with a 22-10 overall record, but 9-9 against SEC teams.

For that reason, it may be a good thing that Missouri sports betting apps are not yet legal in the Show-Me-State; they may not be worth the bet on Friday. The Tigers’ coach, however, will have you thinking otherwise.

“We’ve got a great opportunity (Friday) to play the No. 1 team in the country, and we’re excited about it,” coach Frank Haith said.

Florida is a 12 point favorite in the NCAAB betting odds.  The Gators are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games, and the Tigers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games.
