- Below are the Toyota/Save Mart 350 odds and betting trends ahead of Sunday afternoon’s race
NASCAR heads out to Sonoma, California for race number 16 of the 2022 season. The race comes from the Sonoma Raceway. The 1.949-mile track does not include the carousel this time around. Kyle Larson is co-favored this week with Kyle Busch at +800 odds in the NASCAR Enjoy Illinois 300 odds. Can Ross Chastain crash the Hendricks/Gibbs battle  this week and not into other Joe Gibbs’ racers.
This is one week after the Enjoy Illinois 300, where Joey Logano held off Kyle Busch in overtime to win on the inaugural track right near the “Gateway Arch”.
Let’s dive into these Toyota/Save Mart 350 odds and figure out which drivers are the best bets.

Odds as of June 9th at the Barstool Sportsbook.
NASCAR drivers will run on the 1.949-mile Sonoma Raceway (Single Chute) when the flag drops for the Sunday afternoon race beginning around 4:00 pm ET.
Chase Elliott is a Favorite at Sonoma BUT…
Elliott is a favorite according to Barstool at +600 for this week’s 110-lap race at Sonoma.
Currently, Elliott stands as a favorite most everyone else and is just +450 at Caesars. Teammate Kyle Larson is listed at +600. Some shorter odds exist on Caesars Sportsbook, as even Martin Truex Jr. is +850 (+1000 at Barstool). Two of the top four Joe Gibbs’ drivers are at +850 or shorter at Caesars too.
Now, what occurs on the road course this Sunday afternoon?
NASCAR Sonoma Odds: Chase Elliott opens as the favorite, but you can make money elsewhere https://t.co/yyglJbrUGp

The idea is that Hendrick Motorsports went 1-2 last year here at Sonoma. Just think that Larson was able to dominate most of the race and had plenty of distance on Chase Elliott. At +750, Kyle Larson has very slight value which is not normal.
Toyota/Save Mart 350Â Recent Winners
Year | Race Winner | Pole Position | Most Laps Led |
---|---|---|---|
2021 | Kyle Larson – Hendrick Motorsports Racing | Kyle Larson – Hendrick Motorsports Racing | Kyle Larson – Hendrick Motorsports Racing |
2020 | No Race – COVID | N/A | N/A |

2017 | Kevin Harvick – Stewart-Haas Racing | Kyle Larson – Chip Ganassi Racing | Martin Truex Jr. – Furniture Row Racing |
The race is 110 laps in all. This is truly a getaway race as next week, the drivers are off.
Can Martin Truex Jr. Win at Sonoma?
Sports bettors have seen Martin Truex Jr. stay in the top-ten all season. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver still ranks well in the NASCAR Cup Series odds and is tied for third in the race odds. Furthermore, though Larson and Elliott are rightful favorites, Truex Jr. is one to reckon with.
Since 2017 at road courses minus Rovals, Sonoma 2017 (engine problems while running in 2nd) and COTA 2021, Martin Truex Jr. has a 3.2 average finish.

Now, he reunites with Cole Pearn, his crew chief when he won the NASCAR Championship. The rumor is Truex Jr. is considering retirement. Expect a good showing this week.
Toyota/Save Mart 350 Predictions & Picks
This 1.949-mile track will be fun again without the carousel. Expect more speed and an exciting finish.
Interesting that Austin Cindric has never raced at Sonoma in any of NASCAR's top series.

The weather expects to be warm on Sunday with temperatures rising into the 70s. The last thing to keep an eye on is drivers like Ross Chastain and Denny Hamlin. Their ability to drive fast is well documented but do they remember last week?
Finally, for top-ten picks, there are Ryan Blaney, Kyle Busch, and Kurt Busch as well. There will be a few more picks closer to Sunday’s race after qualifying on Saturday.
The stage format is 25-30-55 for laps.
Here are our best bets:
- Top Pick: Kyle Larson to Win (+750)
- Other Contenders: Martin Truex Jr. (+1000), Ross Chastain (+1000), Ryan Blaney (+1000), Alex Bowman (+2500)
- Longshots:Â Erik Jones(+6000 plus top-ten alert), Kevin Harvick (+3500 also look at top-ten value)
