Puck drop goes Sunday night at 7:30pm MT/9:30pm ET from Edmonton, with TBS carrying the broadcast in the US and Sportsnet in Canada.

Kings’ Defense Leaking
That LA defense was supposed to be a difference maker, especially with Darcy Kuemper in net for the Kings.
But Edmonton’s offense is just that good, and has turned these Round 1 games more into their style.
Game 3 was a rough one for Kuemper, who was torched for five goals in an eventual 7-4 loss. It didn’t help that the Kings decided to try to challenge Edmonton’s 4-4 tying goal with goalie interference. With just over six minutes to play, the Kings lost their challenge, got called for a delay of game penalty, and surrendered the eventual game-winner to Evan Bouchard just ten seconds later.
Kuemper has just an .859 save percentage in this series, and an inflated GAA of 4.04.
Oilers Must Outscore Defensive Woes
Edmonton mercifully pulled the plug on goalie Stuart Skinner, who was shelled in two games in LA, giving up 11 goals for a 6.11 GAA and a rough .810 save percentage.
Calvin Pickard was only slightly better in his first start of the playoffs, giving up four goals on 28 shots, an .857 save percentage.
The Kings have had Edmonton playing catchup almost all series. They’ve opened 4-0 and 3-0 leads in two games, and in Game 3, when Edmonton built a 2-0 lead, LA wiped it out in less than 20 minutes of play.
The truth is the Oil will only go as far as their dynamic offense can take them. With an assist from LA in Game 3, that gave them the juice they needed to a comeback win.
Leon Draisaitl has scored in every game this series and has five points. He’s now tallied in 17 straight playoff games against LA, with 16 goals and 15 assists.
Connor McDavid has seven points and has also been on the scoresheet in each game this series. As long as they are able to create opportunities and produce, Edmonton has a chance.
Kings vs Oilers Prediction
- Over 6.0 goals (-125 at Caesars)
There’s no use in going to any other line, this has been a wild series, with a total of 30 goals scored between the two teams across three games.
No surprise they’re the two highest scoring teams in the playoffs, and it’s not close.
The Kings have done it with a postseason-best 58.3% success rate on the powerplay. After going 0-for-5 over the first two games, the Oilers have also started to connect with the man advantage, matching LA’s 2-for-2 night on the man advantage in Game 3.
Expect another wild one in Edmonton Sunday night, where the team taking the last shot might be the one that walks away with the vital Game 4 win.
