The St. Louis Blues would love to score more goals, but so far two per game has been enough to grab a 2-0 lead over the Los Angeles Kings.   Game three of the series is this Saturday at 10:00 PM ET.

In game two, Barret Jackman scored a last minute goal to put the series in command of the Blues. “He probably didn’t think I was going to shoot, the way my hands are,” Jackman said. “The building erupted, and it’s a pretty good feeling.”

The Kings think they could have done a lot more in the first two games of the series, especially in the closing parts of games.

“I’ve got to stop that. I’ve got to stop that,” Kings goalie Jonathan Quick. “It’s my fault. Two games in a row. I’ve got to be better.”

“It’s our own fault that we’re in this position,” defenseman Drew Doughty said. “We’ve been fully prepared for their game, fully prepared for what they’re going to do against us, and we just haven’t stepped up to the plate.

The Kings are listed as big favorite for game 3 at -160, and the Blues at +140; the game total is set at 4.5 goals.

Los Angeles knows this is the game of the season for them; going down 3-0 is a mission impossible cliché, but it could be too hard against a team that represent discipline hockey just like the Blues. Take the Kings in game 3.
