Seahawks Slight Favorites
The smallest line for Week 8 is the one point that the Seattle Seahawks are favored by over the visiting San Francisco 49ers in a meeting of NFC West teams.
The Seahawks took a 5-0 record into their Sunday night game against the Cardinals at Arizona.
The 49ers pulled a 33-6 road upset of the New England Patriots as a three-point underdog on Sunday to improve to 4-3. The Patriots have lost three straight.

Against the Patriots, Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed for a career-high three touchdowns and 112 yards before leaving with an ankle injury. He was subbing for the injured Raheem Mostert.
Jimmy Garappolo completed 20 of 25 passes for 277 yards with two interceptions in his first game against his former team.
Chiefs-Jets Mismatch
Not surprisingly, Week 8’s biggest spread is the 20.5 that the Kansas City Chiefs are favored by over the New York Jets at home.
The Chiefs improved to 6-1 on Sunday as they rolled over the Broncos 43-16 in Denver as a 9.5-point favorite.
Kansas City showed it can win without a big performance from Patrick Mahomes, who threw for just 99 yards in the first half as the Chiefs built a 24-9 lead. Mahomes eventually extended his NFL-leading streak to 17 games with a touchdown pass with 11 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
One of the Chiefs’ scores came on a 102-yard kickoff return by Byron Pringle in the snow.

The Jets fell to 0-7 and kept the dubious distinction of being the NFL’s only winless team by dropping an 18-10 decision at home to the Buffalo Bills as 9.5-point underdogs.
The Jets held the Bills without a touchdown as Buffalo needed six field goals from Tyler Bass, who tied a franchise record. However, New York generated just 10 points even with Sam Darnold returning to the lineup after missing two games with a shoulder injury.
Over/Under Report
The largest total is 55.5 points for the Minnesota Vikings-Green Bay Packers game.
The Packers bounced back Sunday from their first loss of the season by beating the Texans 35-20 in Houston as Aaron Rodgers passed for 283 yards and four touchdowns.

The Vikings were on their bye week.
High-scoring games are the Packers’ specialty, averaging 32.8 points a game and allowing 26.5. The Vikings are scoring 25.8 points a game and giving up 32.0.
The over/unders of 44.5 for the Los Angeles Rams-Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers-Denver Broncos games are the lowest on the Week 8 schedule.
Rookie Tua Tagovailoa will make his first NFL start for the Dolphins.
Line Movement
The Dolphins are 3.5-point dogs against the Rams However, Tagovailoa was a wildly popular college player at Alabama, and Miami has won three of its last four.
Look for the public to back the Dolphins in his initial start and that line to drop.
