- Deshaun Watson is coming back from NFL suspension for the Cleveland Browns and will be facing the Houston Texans, his old team
- The Cincinnati Bengals welcome back WR Ja’Marr Chase for their AFC Championship Game rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs
- Which NFL teams should you be looking to bet in the early Week 13 NFL picks against the spread? The following story lays out the week’s best bets
In the Week 13 NFL picks against the spread, the Tennessee Titans are no longer the kings of spread betting. Long live the new rulers, the Cincinnati Bengals.
At 8-1 ATS in their last nine games, the Bengals are 3.5-point home underdogs as they are playing host to the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game.
Like a desperate contestant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, the New England Patriots look to be a team down to their last lifeline in pursuit of postseason play. They’ll be tangling with the visiting Buffalo Bills, the chalk in the Super Bowl odds, in a huge AFC East matchup in the Week 13 TNF game.
There’s plenty of intrigue in Houston, which is a rarity as far as the Texans are concerned. This week, though, Deshaun Watson is coming back from NFL suspension to quarterback the Cleveland Browns. And he’s coming back to Houston to face his old team.
Should you be backing or fading any of these teams in the NFL odds as Week 13 ATS picks? Let’s take a look below.

NFL ATS Pick 1: Don’t Count On a Mike White Encore
Minnesota is just 3-3 ATS at home this season. That, coupled with Jets QB Mike White’s impressive display in last week’s win over the Bears, is likely what’s keeping this line so short.

Last season, White was also a standout in his season debut. Then he came crashing down to earth. And the 9-2 Vikings are much better than the Bears.
Pick: Minnesota Vikings -3 (-110), 1 unit
NFL ATS Pick 2: Watson Comes Back to Haunt Houston
Credit to Jacoby Brissett for keeping the Browns in the playoff hunt. Now Cleveland finds out if QB Deshaun Watson was worth the cost and the aggravation.
Of all the places he could come back from his NFL suspension, Houston seems appropriate. Certainly, the treatment he got from the Texans will have rubbed Watson the wrong way. He should be motivated to put a whipping on the NFL’s worst team.
Pick: Cleveland Browns -6.5 (-110), 1 unit
NFL ATS Pick 3: Bengals Have Chiefs’ Number
Joe Burrow and Cincinnati beat the Chiefs twice last season, including in the AFC Championship Game. Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase went off in last year’s regular-season meeting between these two teams, catching 10 balls for 266 yards, three of them touchdowns. He’ll be back returning from injury for this game.

The Bengals are 8-1 ATS over the last nine games and 75% ATS (3-1) at home, which ranks #2 in the NFL. Kansas City is 2-2 ATS as a road favorite this season.
Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +3 (-110), 1 unit
- ATS season record 21-14-1
Week 13 NFL Picks Against the Spread Quick Picks
- Bills (-5.5) vs Patriots: Buffalo is 3-0-1 ATS in the last four visits to Foxborough
- Ravens (-7.5) vs Broncos: Baltimore is 0-4-1 ATS in the last five home games, but Denver might be fractured enough as a franchise to break that streak
- Steelers (+1.5) vs Falcons: Once the NFL’s 6-0 ATS darlings, Atlanta is 1-5 against the spread over the past six games
- Eagles (-6) vs Titans: Tennessee’s 8-0 ATS run ended last week. The Eagles will make it two in a row in the negative column for the Titans
- Lions (-1.5) vs Jaguars: This could sneakily be the most exciting game of Week 13
- Giants (+1) vs Commanders: New York can’t let this one get away if the playoffs are part of the plan for this season
- Packers (-3.5) vs Bears: Neither team is certain who their starting QB will be
- Seahawks (-3.5) vs Rams: Expect a big Seahawks bounce-back game against the floundering defending Super Bowl champs
- 49ers (-4) vs Dolphins: Another candidate for game of the week. Miami is 2-3 ATS on the road, while San Francisco is 7-2 ATS over the past nine games.
- Chargers (-2.5) vs Raiders: The Chargers are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games facing the Raiders
- Colts (+9.5) vs Cowboys: Dallas will be well-rested against an Indianapolis team coming off a short week. But those are a lot of points to give
- Saints (+6.5) vs Buccaneers: New Orleans is 0-5 ATS on the road this season, while Tampa Bay is 0-4-1 ATS at home. However, the Saints are also 7-2 ATS in the last nine against the Buccaneers and 4-0 ATS in the last four games at Tampa Bay
