The ATS Checkdown: Week 2

After a rough Week 1 against the spread, the fellas are confident that, just like the New England Patriots, they will bounce back, and silence the doubters who are chanting to bring back the Oddcast. 

Robert Green Ingersoll once said, “The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.” Well, Sascha and I both had to deal with the sour, pulpy taste of defeat in Week 1; but we both swallowed that lemon in courageous fashion, and are confident as ever in our ability to pick winners.

Before Sascha and I get into those winning picks for Week 2, though, we take some time to reflect on our first glimpse of real football in over seven months. One of us remains rather unfazed from the surprises of Week 1, while the other is climbing into the conductor seat of a certain 1-0 team’s hype train. You won’t want to miss this!
