  • Week 7 is all but over but we still have two games left on the Monday Night slate
  • My favorite game of the night is the Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • See below to find two of my favorite Ravens vs Buccaneers player props to bet for this MNF matchup

We’ve got two games on the Monday Night Football slate tonight which is the most allowable by law. Hopefully that gets changed at some point but for now two games is good enough for me. That’s twice as good as one game.

Even though we’re looking at two games, I am going to focus on the Baltimore Ravens vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds. It’s the first one that comes on and I’m not very patient. Plus it’s my favorite of the two games.

All we need to do now is find two plus-money bangers and our night is all set. Don’t worry, I already took care of the bangers. Felt like the right thing to do.

Derrick Henry Is Still Good

Teams generally start to lose interest in running backs once they turn 30. Kind of like what Leo DiCaprio does in the dating world. It makes sense for NFL teams because, by the time these backs turn 30, they’ve been beaten senseless. Of course they’re not as good as they once were.

But for every rule, there’s an exception, and Derrick Henry seems to be that exception.

Henry has always been a guy that gets better as the game goes on and it seems like his career may be taking the same trajectory. He still looks like a man amongst boys out there every time he has the ball in his hands. It also helps that it looks like the Ravens want him to carry the ball 50+ times per game. I don’t blame them given their offensive line could block a mack truck.

Tonight Henry and the Ravens will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who haven’t been great against the run this season. We’re talking 4.6 yards per carry to opposing running backs. The only reason people aren’t talking more about their ineptitude is because they’ve been playing games from ahead so the other teams are forced to abandon the run.

I doubt that happens tonight and even if I’m wrong, I still think King Henry goes for 90+ rushing yards. Feels right.

Cade Otton Is Flying Under the Radar

We need a “who the hell is that guy.” I know the haters that reside in Tampa are going to say that Cade Otton is not a “who the hell is that guy”, but as usual, the haters are wrong. Outside of Tampa, no one cares about this guy.

One thing I think we can all agree on, is the fact that everyone should care about this dude.

This one is easy. Like really easy. It’s a numbers game and the numbers are working in our favor here. It’s targets. That’s all it will ever be for the tight-end position. The man has been targeted at least six times in three of the last four games. I’m good with that.

The reason I’m good with that is because nobody can run on the Baltimore Ravens. They are number one in the NFL in terms of rushing defense. At some point, the Buccaneers are going to have to take to the air. And when they do, they should have success targeting Otton. Only eight teams in the NFL have allowed more receptions to the tight end position than Baltimore. Almost all of those teams have played more games.

This could easily go down as the greatest bet of all time. Maybe better.
