Odds as of October 1
With the Chiefs coming off two straight losses, expectations are high for Patrick Mahomes against the Eagles in Week 4. Mahomes has the highest passing total of the week at 306.5. Lamar Jackson has the lowest, at 194.5, when he takes on the Broncos in his first trip to Denver.

Derrick Henry has the highest rushing total of the week at 112.5 when he takes on the lowly Jets. Travis Kelce and Davante Adams are tied for the highest receiving total of Week 4 at 92.5.
Here are the player props I’ll be betting for Sunday of Week 4:
1) Sam Darnold Goes Over on His Passing Yards
- Sam Darnold’s Passing Yards Line: 269.5
Sam Darnold’s Panthers are set for an expected shootout against the Cowboys in Week 4. The total in the Carolina vs Dallas game is as high as 52. Dallas’ offense is averaging 30 points per game, and faces a Carolina secondary that’ll be missing their standout rookie corner, Jaycee Horn.
This is me saying Darnold’s Panthers are going to face a negative game script early and often. But even when Darnold hasn’t faced a negative game script, he has still gone over this passing total. The former Jet is averaging 296 passing yards per game and has gone over 269 in all three games this season.
I appreciate that Christian McCaffrey isn’t around to take the easy stuff underneath, but Dallas has also given up the second-most passing yards this season.
Pick: Sam Darnold over 269.5 passing yards (-115) – 1 unit
2) Antonio Gibson Runs Wild Against Falcons
- Antonio Gibson’s Rushing Yards Line: 61.5
Antonio Gibson getting a practice in on Friday is a great sign for his availability on Sunday. If he does suit up, I love him to be the focal point of the offense after Taylor Heinicke struggled against the Bills last week.
He has surpassed this rushing total in two of three games this season, with the only under coming against Buffalo in Week 3, when the Football Team fell way behind early.
GO, GIBSON, GO.

I don’t believe the Falcons have the offense to put Washington in this position early on, and Atlanta is currently allowing 4.5 yards per carry. Washington will lean on their ground game early and often in this one.
Pick: Antonio Gibson over 61.5 rushing yards (-115) – 0.5 units
3) Nick Chubb Cuts Up Vikings Defense
- Nick Chubb’s Rushing Yards Line: 78.5
This one is pretty simple to me. Chubb has gone over this total in all three games and the Vikings are allowing 4.8 yards per carry this season, the fifth-worst YPC in the league.
Minnesota allowed Joe Mixon to go for a season-high 127 in Week 1, and have bled yards on the ground in each of the last two weeks. I like Cleveland to take an early lead and try to keep Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense on the sideline
Pick: Nick Chubb over 78.5 receiving yards (-114) – 0.5 units
4) Brandin Cooks Stays Hot Against Bills
- Brandin Cook’s Receiving Yards Line: 67.5
The Buffalo Bills are 17-point favorites over the Texans in Week 4. Josh Allen is going to roast this Houston defense and put Davis Mills and company in a very negative game script before the first quarter is done.
But this bodes well for Brandin Cooks’ personal stat line. He’s currently averaging 107.3 receiving yards per game, and has seen an insane percentage of the Texans targets this season. Tyrod Taylor and Mills have combined for 90 pass attempts through three weeks, with 32 of them going in Cooks’ direction.
Cooks is the offense. When the Texans falls down, he’ll be the one they turn to. The journeyman receiver has surpassed this total in all three thus far, and should get plenty of garbage time to rack up the yardage in this one.
Pick: Brandin Cooks over 67.5 receiving yards (-115) – 0.5 units

Saquon Barley, Alvin Kamara, and Derrick Henry are all tied for the best odds to score a touchdown in Week 4. Kamara has the best odds to score his game’s first touchdown, though, at +380.
Anytime Touchdown Picks
Here’s who I like to find the end zone and why:
- Antonio Gibson anytime touchdown (+100): Gibson is as short as -120 at other sportsbooks. I like him for all the reasons I mentioned in his rushing yards prop. He’s going to be leaned on with Washington needing a win, and the Falcons have given up 80 points through three weeks. (0.5 units)
- Jonathan Taylor anytime touchdown (+115): Taylor has gotten a ton of red zone carries this season, but has yet to find the endzone yet. The Dolphins have allowed four rushing touchdowns this season and their offense isn’t going to be lighting up the scoreboard. Whether it’s a hobbled Carson Wentz or some backup under center for Indianapolis, Taylor is going to receive his touches, especially in the red zone. (0.5 units)
- Tyler Lockett anytime touchdown (+125): Lockett has scored a touchdown in two of three games this season, and has three touchdowns in his last three against the Niners. I like him to pick on a sub-par San Francisco secondary in Week 4. (0.25 units)
