While no one was certain what Jordan Love would do last year, pundits were more assured about Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles had made it to Super Bowl 57 against the Kansas City Chiefs, which was a close game which could have gone either way, and then rocketed to a 10-1 start in the 2023 regular season.
What transpired over the second half of the 2023-24 season was atypical. Philadelphia ranked as one of the worst defenses in the league, lost five of its final six games, and was blown out by Tampa Bay of all teams in the playoffs.

Packers vs Eagles Prop #1: Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown
Philadelphia has decent running back depth, which means Barkley will be the starter but won’t be overly taxed. The former New York Giants running back ran for 962 yards in 14 games last season despite one of the worst-ranked offensive lines. Philadelphia possesses a better line and Barkley goes up against a Packers defense that allowed the fifth-most yards to runners. Green Bay defends a little better against the pass.
