The Las Vegas Raiders and longtime quarterback Derek Carr seem headed for a divorce.
The Raiders benched Carr last week in favor of Jarrett Stidham. Las Vegas asked Carr to stay away from the team for the final two weeks of the season and almost certainly will trade him in the offseason.
Odds have been posted about which team Carr will play for next season:

Raiders Park Carr
The Raiders decided to bench Carr after losing to the Steelers 13-10 on Christmas Eve in Pittsburgh to fall to 6-9. He was intercepted three times while completing just 16 of 30 passes for 174 yards and one touchdown.
Carr had been the Raiders’ starting quarterback since being drafted in the second round in 2014 from Fresno State. He made the Pro Bowl three consecutive seasons from 2015-17 but has compiled a 63-79 record and appeared in only one playoff game, which came last year.

This season, the 31-year-old completed just 60.8% of his passes for 3,522 yards and 24 touchdowns with an NFL-worst 14 interceptions.
Stidham made the first start of his four-year career Sunday and threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 37-34 overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Colts the Favorites to Sign Carr
The Indianapolis Colts are listed as +275 favorites to be Carr’s landing spot next season. That is an implied improbability of 26.67%.
The Colts have used three quarterbacks this season on their way to a 4-11-1 record and the firing of coach Frank Reich. They traded with the Atlanta Falcons for Matt Ryan but that hasn’t worked out. Second-year pro Sam Ehlinger and journeyman Nick Foles have also started games.

Since Andrew Luck retired just before the start of the 2019 season, the Colts have had seven different starting QBs.
Contenders for Carr’s Next Team
The New York Jets are the second choice for Carr at +400 and the Tennessee Titans are next at +500.
Both teams are 7-9 and in late-season freefalls. The Jets are on a five-game losing streak and the Titans have lost six in a row.
The Jets seem certain to move on from the overmatched Zach Wilson at quarterback. The No. 2 overall selection in the 2021 draft has been a bust.
The Titans might also be looking to change QBs following a poor season by Ryan Tannehill. Rookie Malik Willis made two starts after Tannehill sustained a foot injury but was benched last week for journeyman Joshua Dobbs.
Derek Carr Next Team Best Bet
The Jets seem like the best fit from this vantage point. Wilson clearly isn’t the long-term answer the organization had hoped for, and backup Mike White is more a placeholder than a QB1.
The Jets haven’t made the playoffs since 2010, the longest current drought in the NFL, and haven’t had a winning season since 2015. They desperately need to shake things up and Carr needs a change of scenery.
It seems like a perfect match.
