- A prop bet this week favoring just one NFC North team to win during Week 14 of the NFL schedule has been released
- None of the four NFC North teams won last week
- Two of four NFC North teams are favored to win this weekÂ
East is east and West is west . . . but never the NFC North shall win.
The online sportsbetting site has put forth a prop bet laying odds that just one of the four NFC North teams will be victorious during Week 14 of the NFL season.

Week 13 proved to be very unlucky for the entire division. Last week, for the first time in the 2018 NFL season, all four NFC North teams lost.
Projected Wins For NFC North Teams in Week 14
Number of Wins for NFC North in Week 14 | Over | Under Odds |
---|---|---|
2 | -105 | -135 |
3.5 | +1400 | -10000 |
0.5 | -10000 | +1400 |
Through 13 weeks of play, last week was the first time all season that no NFC North team was victorious.
Twice they’ve produced one-win weeks, with each of the other 10 weeks seeing two NFC North teams come away with wins.
Which Teams Have a Win in Sight?
Which NFC North teams have the best chance to win this week?
Well, you wouldn’t think the Chicago Bears. They are home after an upset loss to the New York Giants, with the NFL’s best team, the Los Angeles Rams, visiting Soldier Field.
But Chicago has won six of its last eight home games against the Rams, and the Rams have scored over 20 points just once in their last 12 games at Chicago.
The worst team (Giants) in what some consider the worst division (NFC East) in the NFL beat the best team (Bears) in the NFC North. Football is weird.

The underachieving Minnesota Vikings certainly don’t inspire confidence, especially not going into Seattle to face a Seahawks team that has won four of five at home against Minnesota and put up more than 40 points in three of those victories.
The Vikings are 2-6 all-time at Seattle.

Barring some sort of minor miracle, Sunday will mark 25 years since the Detroit Lions won on the road against the Cardinals. They’ve never beaten the Arizona Cardinals, losing eight in a row. They did beat the Phoenix Cardinals in 1993 before the franchise was renamed.
Week 14 Matchups
Detroit Lions | -2.5 | Arizona Cardinals |
Atlanta Falcons | +6 | Green Bay Packers |
Los Angeles Rams | -3 | Chicago Bears |
Minnesota Vikings | +3 | Seattle Seahawks |
That brings us to the Green Bay Packers, who made history on Sunday by firing coach Mike McCarthy.
A franchise that’s been around for a century, this was the first time that the Packers ever fired a head coach in season. Green Bay is home to Atlanta for Joe Philbin’s coaching debut, but last week, the Pack lost at home to the 2-9 Cardinals.
What’s the Best Bet?
We can’t see another 0-fer in the offing for the NFC North, and three or four wins are out of the question.
Based on this season’s math, two seems the most likely outcome. Still, we’d play the under two wager as the best bet on the board.
