  • Today’s New York Jets vs Las Vegas Raiders same-game parlay includes three legs and +530 odds
  • Vegas rookie QB Aidan O’Connell has just one passing TD on 77 attempts
  • The Jets and Raiders meet on Sunday Night Football tonight at 8:20 pm ET

In a matchup between two thoroughly underwhelming offenses, today’s New York Jets vs Las Vegas Raiders same-game parlay is backing a low-scoring, low-yardage game, especially on the Raider side.

The Week 10 Sunday Night Football festivities get underway at Allegiant Stadium in Vegas at 8:20 pm ET.

Jets vs Raiders Same-Game Parlay Picks

Pick Odds
Aidan O’Connell under 0.5 passing TDs +158
Davante Adams under 55.5 receiving yards -110
New York Jets -1.5 -110
Same-Game Parlay Odds +530

The first leg of today’s NYJ vs LV same-game parlay is a plus-money wager on Vegas QB Aidan O’Connell not throwing a passing touchdown against one of the league’s best secondaries. The other two legs hit on that same theme: the Raiders’ offense is going to struggle.

My Week 9 Bills/Bengals SGP was a miss on multiple legs, which dropped me to +3.73 units on SGP picks for the season.

Jets vs Raiders SGP Pick #1: O’Connell Under 0.5 Passing TDs

Las Vegas rookie Aidan O’Connell will be making his second career start tonight and appearing in his fourth career game. His numbers so far are uninspiring. He has a decent 64.9 completion percentage, but with just 522 yards, one TD, and two interceptions on 77 pass attempts. That’s only 6.78 yards per pass.

Against defenses that don’t belong to the woeful Chicago Bears (i.e. the New York Giants and LA Chargers), O’Connell has a 62.5 completion percentage with no touchdowns and one pick on 64 pass attempts.

Tonight, the rookie has to face Sauce Gardener and DJ Reed, who spearhead arguably the best secondary in the NFL. The Jets limited the prolific Justin Herbert to just 136 yards on 16-of-30 passing last week. They’re now allowing just 174.8 passing yards per game, third-best in the NFL, despite playing a schedule that includes Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills, Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs, and Dak Prescott’s Dallas Cowboys.

NYJ vs LV Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Davante Adams Under 55.5 Receiving Yards

If O’Connell struggles, his top target, Davante Adams, is going to do the same. Adams has a receiving-yards over/under of 55.5 in the Week 10 NFL props. Adams has only gone over that number once in his past five games, and just barely, recording 57 yards against the aforementioned Bears. He’s combined for just 45 yards over this past two against the Lions and Giants.

Gardener doesn’t tend to travel with other team’s top receivers, but Reed is waiting on the other side if Vegas endeavors to get Adams away from New York’s top CB. Reed is actually the top-rated corner in the entire NFL according to Pro Football Focus.

The already-disgruntled Adams is going to leave this game with an even more sour disposition.

New York Jets vs Las Vegas Raiders SGP Pick #3: New York Jets -1.5

While Zach Wilson and the New York offense are extremely hard to back, if O’Connell struggles the way I’m envisioning, it makes sense to add a correlated play on the Jets to cover the spread. As I touched on the the Jets vs Raiders picks, Las Vegas’ only wins this season are against teams that are currently two games under .500 or worse. The teams they’ve beaten (the Broncos, Packers, Patriots, and Giants) are a combined 10-25.

Thanks to super-human defensive performances, the Jets have managed to beat both the Buffalo Bills (5-4) and Philadelphia Eagles (8-1). Both those came at home, but they also have road wins over the Broncos and Giants.
