- Kansas City visits Denver on Monday Night Football of Week 4
- Will we see a big day from both team’s QBs and WRs?
- Which player has good value to score a touchdown?
Week 4’s Monday Night Football matchup features an AFC West rivalry between the 3-0Â Chiefs travelling to Denver to face the 2-1 Broncos. We dig into the prop cards to find the three best bets for MNF.
Best Week 4 Monday Night Football Props
Prop #1: Mahomes & Keenum to Each Throw 2+ Passing TDs
QB Props | Â Odds |
---|---|
Patrick Mahomes 2+ Passing TDs | -400 |
Case Keenum 2+ Passing TDs | -122 |
Parlay | +127 |
*All odds taken on 9/30/18
Consider everything we’ve seen from Kansas City in the first three weeks and we should be in for an exciting MNF matchup. KC has scored the most points (118) of any team coming into Week 4, but have also allowed the third-most at 92.

Mahomes may find some resistance in Mile High from Denver’s 14th overall defense, but after 13 TDs in three games, adding two more seems quite attainable. The Chiefs will also likely look to the passing game more often to avoid Denver’s fourth-ranked rush defense.

KC is tied with the Buccaneers in allowing the most total passing yards per game at 362.7, for a total  of 1,088. This should create opportunities for Broncos receivers, and in turn QB Case Keenum.
Keenum hasn’t thrown a TD since Week 1 when he had three, creating value in this prop as his stock is pretty low right now.
Pick: Patrick Mahomes & Case Keenum to Each Throw 2+ Passing TDs
Prop #2: Kelce & Watkins Combine for 10+ Receptions
Number of Combined Receptions | Odds |
---|---|
9 | -213 |
10 | -133 |
11 | -109 |
12 | +133 |
13 | +197 |
14 | +272 |

Chiefs receivers have brought down 62 catches so far this season. Of those, Travis Kelce, Sammy Watkins, and Tyreek Hill have 44, accounting for 71% of the team’s receptions.
Mahomes has basically looked to all three equally, with Kelce seeing the most targets at 26, followed by Watkins (20) and just behind him Hill with 19.
Kelce vs Watkins Receptions in Last 3 Games
8 | Week 3 | 5 |
7 | Week 2 | 6 |
1 | Week 1 | 3 |
Hill may have the most receiving yards, but Kelce and Watkins have more receptions each of the past two weeks. When building this prop, you’ll also find better value as you’ll need to choose “At Least 12 Receptions” to get a similar price including Hill with Kelce as opposed to Watkins.

Pick: Travis Kelce & Sammy Watkins To Have At Least 10 Combined Receptions
Prop #3: Emmanuel Sanders To Have At Least 5 Receptions & 1 Receiving TD
Coming into Week 4, the Chiefs’ defense was ranked 28th in touchdowns allowed with eight. This opens the door for Denver’s top receiver, Emmanuel Sanders, to find the end zone.
Emmanuel Sanders Prop | Odds |
---|---|
5+ Receptions | -256 |
1+ Receiving TD | +140 |
Parlay | +177 |
On 23 targets, Sanders has the most receptions on the Broncos with 19, above the average needed to cash the receptions portion of this prop. He leads the team with 269 receiving yards and has added one receiving touchdown.
Sanders has ten, four, and five receptions in three games and against a Chiefs’ defense allowing the most first downs, he should see a high number of targets. Opposing receivers have had field days against KC’s secondary, with nine receivers having at least five receptions against them.

It’s important to note that Sanders can be used in a variety of situations, and last week had one rushing attempt for 35 yards that went for a touchdown. If you want to play it safer, you can look to Sanders to simply score one touchdown by any method.
Player To Score a TD | Odds |
---|---|
Kareem Hunt | -135 |
Tyreek Hill | -130 |
Sammy Watkins | -120 |
Travis Kelce | -120 |
Demaryius Thomas | +110 |
Royce Freeman | +120 |
Emmanuel Sanders | +130 |
