The over/under for passing yards is 214.5 for Lawrence and 200.5 for the Jets’ Zach Wilson. The Jets are 1.5-point favorites, and the total is 37.5 points in the NFL odds.

The forecast calls for a 100% chance of heavy rain and accumulation could be up to two inches. While the temperature is expected to be 55 degrees, the wind will be from the east at 13-20 mph with gusts as high as 41 mph. The game will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.

TNF Prop #1: Evan Engram Receiving Yards

This game represents a bit of homecoming for Jaguars tight end Evan Engram, who spent the first five years of his career with the New York Giants before joining the Jaguars prior to this season as a free agent. The Giants, of course, share MetLife Stadium with the Jets.

Engram was considered a disappointment after being a first-round draft pick in 2017. However, his career has been rejuvenated with the Jaguars.

Through 14 games, Engram has 61 receptions for 610 yards. He is three catches away from matching his career high, which was established in his rookie season.

Evan Engram Receiving Last 5 Games

Engram has been a go-to receiver for quarterback Trevor Lawrence the last two weeks with 19 receptions for 244 yards and two touchdowns. Engram has had at least 40 yards seven times this season.

TNF Prop #2: Zach Wilson Passing Yards

The Jets reinstalled Wilson as the starting quarterback last week. He had been benched the previous three games for Mike White, who sustained a rib injury on December 11 in a loss to the Buffalo Bills.

There was good and bad in Wilson’s performance against the Lions last week. He threw for 317 yards – his second-highest total of the season – and two touchdowns.

However, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 draft behind Lawrence completed just 18 of 35 attempts and was intercepted once.

The Jaguars are 29^th in the league in pass defense, which should theoretically work to Wilson’s advantage. However, Wilson hasn’t exactly risen to the occasion in big games during his brief NFL career.

Rainy weather, national television, and comparisons to Lawrence are not a good combination for Wilson.

TNF Prop #3: Zonovan Knight Anytime Touchdown

Both teams will probably run more frequently in wet weather. The Jets are No. 24 in the NFL in rushing offense but still are likely to try to keep the ball on the ground as much as possible rather than put the game in Wilson’s hands.

Undrafted rookie Zonovan Knight has become the Jets’ primary ball carrier since making his debut on Nov. 27. He has 59 carries and 10 receptions in four games.

Look for the Jets to get the ball in Knight when they reach the red zone, though he has scored only one touchdown so far.
