Bucs vs Lions Props #1: Baker Mayfield Passing Yards
Kicking off our Buccaneers vs Lions props for Sunday’s NFL Playoff game is a play on Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield as he faces the vulnerable Detroit secondary. Mayfield threw for 337 yards against the Eagles in the wild card round and his passing yards prop is set at 260.5 for the divisional round.

Detroit has struggled defending the pass all season, ranking 30th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game (253.4 YPG). While the Lions defense stifled the Rams ground game last weekend, quarterback Matthew Stafford still threw for 367 yards on their defense.
The Lions are 6-point favorites in this game, so there’s a good chance the Bucs will fall behind at some point, meaning the team will need to rely on Mayfield’s arm to catch up. The ex-OU pivot spread the ball around to nine different targets vs Philly, and we expect him to keep the momentum going Sunday.
- Bucs vs Lions Props Picks: Baker Mayfield Over 260.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Editor’s note: As of Sunday morning, Mayfield’s passing yards had been bet up to 269.5, while Mayfield over 1.5 TD pass TD’s was the third-most bet on prop on the DraftKings app, and this play goes hand-in-hand.
Bucs vs Lions Props #2: Jahmyr Gibbs Rushing Yards
The under on Jahmyr Gibbs’ rushing yards was one of the bets we gave out in our early NFL divisional round props to target, and we’re sticking with it here. While most sportsbooks are offering this prop as low as 44.5 yards, FanDuel is actually offering this number at 48.5.

There’s solid value at FanDuel right now considering Gibbs has only averaged 33 rushing yards in his past three contests. Sunday’s game presents a tough matchup, as the Bucs are only allowing 95.3 rushing yards per game, which is fifth-best in the NFL.
David Montgomery almost saw double the amount of carries as Gibbs in the Wild Card round, and his usage will take volume away from Gibbs. We still think Gibbs could see double-digit carries in this game, but with the Bucs only allowing 3.8 yards per carry, we project Gibbs falls under his rushing number for our Buccaneers vs Lions picks.
- Bucs vs Lions Props Picks: Jahmyr Gibbs Under 48.5 Rushing Yards ( -113 at FanDuel ))

In the Buccaneers vs Lions touchdown scorer props, there are four odds-on favorites to find the endzone: Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Mike Evans.
Gibbs has the best odds to score a touchdown at -130, which is 56% implied probability.
Bucs vs Lions Props #3: Amon Ra St. Brown Touchdown
When it comes to the Bucs vs Lions touchdown scorer props, we love the value on Lions wide receiver Amon Ra St. Brown to find the endzone. The 24-year-old is red-hot entering the divisional round, accumulating five straight games of 100 yards from scrimmage.

Although he didn’t record a touchdown reception last weekend, St. Brown hauled in seven of nine targets for 110 yards in a 24-23 wild-card win over the Rams. St. Brown might have the best matchup on the field Sunday, as he goes up against Tampa Bay undrafted rookie slot corner Christian Izien.
In the first meeting this season, St. Brown made 12 catches for 124 yards and a TD. He ranks sixth in the entire NFL in red zone targets and should see heavy volume against a TB pass defense allowing over 300 yards per game through the air. Considering he’s hauled in 25% of his red zone targets, this is a terrific plus-money wager.
