  • The Browns play the Steelers to cap off NFL Week 2 on Monday, September 18 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson goes into Three Rivers against Pittsburgh. Is he a good bet in the passing prop markets?
  • Read below for analysis and our top Browns vs Steelers props to bet for Monday Night Football

It’s been more than eight months since Cleveland faced Pittsburgh on a cold January day. Cleveland had a disaster on a game that turned into an easy Pittsburgh 28-14 victory. What will happen on Monday? Okay, let’s read on for some Browns vs Steelers props.

That game played last season will have almost zero relevance in terms of present player prop betting analysis. Again, Cleveland looked almost dominant against Cincinnati in Week 1 while the Steelers sputtered and lost last Sunday. Will the Steelers rebound or can the Browns frustrate another offense?

As they meet on Monday, it’s the Browns that are set as 2-point favorites in the contest. Let’s look at the best Browns vs Steelers Week 2 NFL player props and scoring props available below for your Cleveland vs Pittsburgh picks.

Browns vs Steelers Prop #1: Kenny Pickett Over 19.5 Completions

With the Pittsburgh Steelers thrust into more of a throwing pattern last week, Kenny Pickett threw 46 times and completed 31. Now that cannot happen this week as Pittsburgh and Cleveland figure to slug it out a bit. However, Pittsburgh possesses some quality receivers along with Pat Freiermuth who can gobble up passes. The 19.5 here seems a little bit low honestly. While Pickett may not throw too much more than 30 passes, expecting 20 completions is not unreasonable.

Pickett, who got thrown into the wolves last year, completed 20.5 passes per start. He completed 63% of his passes last season. If he approaches 35 attempts, that translates to 21 passes completed at least. Also, weather conditions should be more tranquil than they would have been on Sunday. Rainy weather as opposed to pleasant, cool weather would have been less than optimal. Do not be surprised to see Pickett come up big here and cash in your Browns vs Steelers picks.

Browns vs Steelers Prop Picks: Kenny Pickett over 19.5 completions (+105), 1 unit

Browns vs Steelers Prop #2: Nick Chubb Over 82.5 Yards

When it comes to Week 1 of the NFL season, Nick Chubb hit the ground running with over 100 yards on just 18 carries. Deshaun Watson helps keep runs down, but the feeling is Chubb may have to carry the ball a few more times on Monday night. Consider that Pittsburgh gave up 185 yards on 34 carries against San Francisco. Both the 49ers and Browns have a bit of a dynamic running attack. This is not quite the same Cleveland team as last year.

Again, Pittsburgh’s defense will play better but Chubb should be able to get his yards.

Browns vs Steelers Prop Picks: Nick Chubb over 82.5 yards (-115), 1 unit. Nick Chubb anytime touchdown (-135), 1 unit)

Browns vs Steelers Scoring Props

Player Odds to Score First TD Odds to Score Any TD
Nick Chubb (LAC) +380 -135
Najee Harris (PIT) +650 +145
Amari Cooper (CLE) +950 +215
George Pickens (PIT) +1100 +250
Pat Freiermuth (PIT) +1200 +275
Allen Robinson II (PIT) +1200 +310
Elijah Moore (CLE) +1200 +275
Jaylen Warren (CLE) +1300 +310
David Njoku (CLE) +1300 +295
Donovan Peoples-Jones (CLE) +1400 +300
Calvin Austin III (PIT) +1500 +390

Browns vs Steelers Prop #3: Freiermuth Over 3.5 Receptions

Kenny Pickett loves Pat Freiermuth as a safety valve. The connection developed over the course of the season last year and the belief is the Browns linebackers may have some trouble with the Pittsburgh Tight End. Freiermuth is one of the more capable pass catchers in the AFC North.

Honestly, there is less risk here because these rivalry games often get played down the middle and Freiermuth excels there. One can bet either way here but the receptions are a nice wager for your Browns vs Steelers picks.

Browns vs Steelers Prop Picks: Pat Freiermuth over 3.5 receptions (-140), 1 unit.

Browns vs Steelers Prop #4: Chris Boswell Over 5.5 Points

This prop is worth a solid look especially for the kicker points which carries better odds than the Over for 1.5 field goals. Chris Boswell and Pittsburgh could find themselves in a game where field goals are very important. There is a safe bet that this plays out more like the Week 3 game last season. Boswell remembers the kick he missed. He won’t miss this time.

Browns vs Steelers Prop Picks: Chris Boswell Over 1.5 Field Goals (-130), 1 unit, Over 5.5 Kicker Points (-125), 1 unit.
