Outside the season opener, the most anticipated game on the Week 1 slate is the Monday Nighter. Aaron Rodgers will make his Jets debut versus the Bills, in a matchup featuring two of the AFC’s projected heavyweights and there are many Bills vs Jets props to consider.
The contest is loaded with stars on both sides, with names like Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and Garrett Wilson joining Rodgers as players who are sure to draw plenty of attention in the MNF props markets.
There looks to be a bit of value on the over on Rodgers passing yards prop, but we’re opting to start our Bills vs Jets props card with a fade of Gabe Davis.

Davis’ receiving yards prop currently sits at 46.5, which is a number we see multiple outs for him to fall short of. The Bills number two receiver struggled last season against New York, and we should expect a similar result barring a major break down in coverage.

MNF Prop #1: Gabe Davis Under 46.5 Receiving Yards
Buffalo enters play as a 2-point favorite, and is expected to play more 12-personnel this year after drafting Dalton Kincaid in the first round. Kincaid is big play waiting to happen, and is likely to steal targets from Davis and Diggs. Don’t forget Allen still loves throwing to Dalton Knox, and he’ll be more incentivized to target his tight ends in this matchup.
That’s because the Jets corners are elite. Buffalo will want to avoid Sauce Gardner’s coverage on Diggs as much as possible, meaning Davis is going to be the sacrificial lamb in those 12-personnel packages.
Things won’t get any better for Davis in three receiver sets, as the Bills number three wideout Deonte Hardy is strictly a slot option. As a result, Davis will match up versus Gardner on most snaps, which is a taunting task for any pass catcher.

Davis saw plenty of Sauce last year, which is one of the primary reasons he posted such underwhelming numbers. He caught only two passes for 31 yards in their first meeting, and three balls for 31 yards in the rematch.
Jets vs Bills Prop Picks: Gabe Davis Under 46.5 Receiving Yards (-115), 1 unit
MNF Prop #2: James Cook Over 14.5 Receiving Yards
With difficult matchups on the outside for both Davis and Diggs, we can expect more pass game work for not only the Buffalo tight ends, but their running backs as well.
Expect James Cook to be the primary beneficiary from the backfield, as he has the traits to be a three-down back. Cook is the best receiving option of the bunch and will see the bulk of the third down work.

Only five teams allowed more running back receptions than New York last season, while Cook averaged 8.6 yards per catch as a rookie in 2022.
As always, make sure you price shop these props when making your Bills vs Jets picks. Cook’s over/under receiving yards prop is 14.5 at DraftKings, but as high as 17.5 at other online sportsbooks.

MNF Prop #3: Knox Strikes First
Moving on to the touchdown prop bets market now, where we’re all in on Knox. Kincaid may be the shiny new toy at tight end for Buffalo, but Knox is still going to have a large role in the offense.
