Peyton Manning will lead his first playoffs as a Denver Bronco against the Baltimore Ravens, this Saturday at 4:30 PM ET in Mile High stadium, in a game that promises to have an exciting development.
“It’s been quite a year for me,” Manning told the Broncos’ official website. “I remember one year ago I was in a hospital bed watching opening day, so there’s a little reminder there of how far I’ve come.”
Of course, people are expecting a good fight between two old foxes like Manning and Ray Lewis. “I think Ray Lewis knows how I feel about him, and I think I’ll share that with him at the appropriate time,” he said.
“It’s just one of those chess matches,” said Lewis. “(Manning) knows me very well. I know him very well. … But at the end of the day, it’s not about me and me and Peyton. It’s about their team against our team.
“I love our team right now.”
The Broncos whopped the Ravens in week 17 at Baltimore that’s why they are 10 point favorites in the NFL odds. “It means nothing that we beat them in the regular season,” said Denver receiver Brandon Stokley. “I know we beat them pretty good, but in the playoffs it’s just a different game.”
The problem for the Ravens is that they are not they best team away from, in fact, you can argue they change dramatically and in a negative way when they are the visitors.
