Both sides are dealing with injuries. Steph Curry missed Tuesday’s game against the Utah Jazz with a knee injury, though Golden State managed to pull out a 114-103 victory. Draymond Green (calf) and Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) are both out.

For OKC, Lu Dort (knee) missed the Thunder’s last game against Portland, but he’s off the injury report and is expected to play against the Warriors. Chet Holmgren (hip) is still weeks away from returning to the lineup.

No surprise that the league’s leading scorer and the current favorite in the NBA MVP odds has the highest scoring prop in this matchup. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is set for 32.5 points, a number he has eclipsed six times in his last 10 games. He’s averaging 34.3 points on 52.8% shooting in the month of January.

Stephen Curry has the highest scoring prop for the Warriors at 22.5 points, and has the highest 3-point make total of 4.5. He’s hit at least five triples in his last five games against the Thunder.

Isaiah Hartenstein has the top rebound prop among all players at 10.5, while Curry has the highest assist total at 6.5, one better than both SGA and Jalen Williams.

OKC Thunder vs Golden State Warriors Predictions

  • Thunder vs Warriors pick: Thunder -10.5 (-105)
  • Thunder vs Warriors prop bet: Curry Over 4.5 3-point makes (+134)

Since moving to a season-best 12-3 on November 22, the Warriors have been a sinking ship, going 11-20, winning back-to-back games just twice over that stretch. After dropping three of four, the Dubs found their way back into the win column with a win over Utah.

Curry should be back for the date with OKC, and they’ll need him. The Warriors have dropped four of the last five to the Thunder, their only win during the early part of this NBA season.

The Thunder are all business. Since a loss to Houston on Dec 1, they have gone 22-3 over the next 25. Their last two losses were both on the back end of a back-to-back. They are coming off a 118-108 win in Portland.

OKC is perhaps the most complete team in basketball. They are ranked first in defensive rating, leading the NBA in scoring defense at 104.3 points per contest. Teams are shooting just 43% from the field and 32.7% from distance, both top ranks in the league. Combine that with an offense that ranks eighth in scoring at 116.6 points per game, armed with the likely MVP in SGA, and the Thunder are a tough out.

Golden State is sagging offensively, ranking 19th at 111.3 points per game, though they have been able to keep pace with the Thunder. The last four decisions, Golden State’s three losses have been by seven points or less.

However, the Dubs are a tough bet on the second night of a back-to-back. They are 3-4 overall, 2-5-0 against the spread, and are averaging just 103.3 points per game. They crossed 110 points just once in that set.

Oklahoma City is 21-7 against teams at .500 or above, and they’ve won by double digits in each of their last 10 wins.
