  • Look for all the Suns vs Knicks odds, predictions and picks, below.

Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns (35-42 SU, 29-47-1 ATS) meet Karl Anthony-Towns and the New York Knicks (49-28 SU, 37-39-1 ATS) on Sunday, April 6. New York will come into this one with plenty of confidence after smashing the Atlanta Hawks 121-105 on Saturday. While the Suns will look to get back in the win column after losing five straight games. Suns vs Knicks tips off from Madison Square Garden at 7pm ET over on Fubo. Don’t miss my Suns vs Knicks predictions with all the odds.

Suns vs Knicks Prediction

The Mecca plays host to Suns vs Knicks on Sunday night. The reeling Suns lost their fifth straight against the Celtics on Friday, and will be without star Kevin Durant in New York. Durant suffered a sprained ankle last weekend against Houston, and has sat out the first two games of Phoenix’s road trip.

Phoenix’s playoff hopes are on the ropes, and all of the betting trends point to this contest being New York’s to lose. On top of their losing streak, the Suns are 0-5 ATS in their past five road contests.

The Knicks have expertly navigated this late season stretch, going 4-1 both SU and ATS in their past five games. Plus, New York has so many more offensive creators. Especially with Durant out, Phoenix lacks the playmaking necessary to break down the Knicks strong defense. Bet on the Knicks to cover the spread at Madison Square Garden today.

Pick: Knicks -8 (-112)

Suns Aim to Stay in Playoff Contention

Mike Budenholzer’s team find themselves on the outside of the Western Conference playoff picture. The Suns are currently in 11th place, with the league’s toughest remaining schedule. Phoenix’s awful defense has been their downfall this season. Lacking size, length, and depth, the Suns have allowed an NBA-worst 123.1 points per 100 possessions over their past 15 games.

Phoenix has been blown out in each of their past five games, losing by an average of 22.8 per contest. Without Durant in the lineup, there’s little to like from a betting perspective. The Suns have gone just 2-12 SU without KD this season.

Even with the sparkling offensive skills of Durant and Devin Booker, the Suns are a discombobulated squad. Budenholzer has failed to get the best out of a strangely constructed roster, and his defensive schemes and adjustments simply haven’t been good enough. That won’t get the job done against the calculated gameplan of Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau on Sunday night.

Knicks Looks to Continue Winning Streak

Meanwhile, the Knicks have won, and covered the spread in six of their last eight games. Thibodeau’s squad has solidified their hold on the third playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and will meet one of the Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks or Indiana Pacers in the first-round. New York sit 11th in net rating (+4.3) over their past 15 games, and have found a way to win despite injury woes.

Star point guard Jalen Brunson is expected to return to action in Sunday’s contest, after missing 15 games with a sprained ankle. Similarly, star big man Karl Anthony-Towns is working through his own ailment, with an injured knee keeping him in-and-out of the lineup. Both are set to suit up for this one, so New York should have plenty of bodies to navigate the second night of a back-to-back.

Forwards OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges have taken on the offensive load in Brunson’s absence. OG has looked like a man possessed, averaging over 20 points a game on over 50% shooting. While Bridges isn’t far behind at 18.6 a night across his last five. Should New York continue to get the best out of their ancillary pieces, a deep playoff run isn’t out of the question.

For today’s game, New York has far too much firepower for Phoenix to handle.
