NBA player props from Bet365 Sportsbook on January 24.

With the excitement and hysteria deservedly on Wemby, the books have given him the highest scoring prop of 28.5 points and 11.5 rebounds. He went over that point total Thursday in Paris, going off for 30 points, but he was just shy of that rebound mark, bringing down eleven boards.

The 2023 first overall pick hadn’t gone over 28.5 points in seven straight affairs until Thursday, and he has twelve or more rebounds in just two of his last six contests.

Indiana’s Pascal Siakam is the next player with the highest prop total for points at 19.5. He’s hit that figure in five of his his last seven outings. but he put up 18 points against San Antonio in the first duel.

Teammate Tyrese Haliburton has the highest assist prop at 8.5. Fifth in the NBA at 8.8 assists per contest, Haliburton is averaging 9.2 assists in nine January games, topping that total four times, and finishing with exactly eight assists three other occasions. Wembanyama has the highest three-pointers made line at 3.5.

Indiana Pacers vs San Antonio Spurs Prediction

  • Pacers vs Spurs pick: Spurs Moneyline (+110)

The Pacers are coming off a 140-110 thrashing at the hands of the Spurs. It was San Antonio’s fourth win in their last five against Indiana (by an average of 11.2 points).

The Spurs emerged victorious for just the second time in their last eight contests, while the Pacers dropped just their second in ten. The big difference was the Spurs outrebounding their opponents by a 57-31 edge. The Pacers are now 2-7 when their opponents shoots 52% or better.

Thursday was the fourth time that Wembanyama finished a game with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and five blocks. The only players with more such games in the last 50 regular seasons are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (24), Hakeem Olajuwon (14), and David Robinson and Shaquille O’Neal (11 each).

How much does the hometown faithful push Wemby to have another big game? Was it just a blip for the Pacers, or will the trend continue with a fifth loss in six against the Spurs? Given that they’re the underdog and won by 30 Thursday, I’m inclined to back San Antonio on the moneyline in this one with a nice +110 price.
