Hawks vs Magic Public-Betting Splits
The Atlanta vs Orlando public-betting splits show an interesting divide. The public, as it often does, is favoring the home favorite on the moneyline, putting 57% of ML handle and 74% of ML bets on Orlando to win straight-up. But when it comes to the ATS trends, it’s the Hawks who are getting 56% of handle and 55% of wagers as 5.5-point road underdogs.
The teams had nearly identical ATS records during the regular season, with Atlanta batting exactly .500 (41-41 ATS) and Orlando half a game behind (40-41-1 ATS).
When it comes to the game total splits, the public is all over the over. Indeed, over 218.5 is the public’s favorite side in this game both in terms of handle (91%) and tickets (91%), meaning just 9% of game-total money and 9% of game-total wagers are on the under roughly four hours before tip-off.
Atlanta, which plays at the third-fastest pace in the NBA, had the second-best over record in the NBA this season (50-31-1 O/U). Only the Cavs hit the over at a higher rate (51-31 O/U). Orlando, though, was one of just six teams in the NBA this season which hit more unders than overs (35-47 O/U) and only Charlotte (33-49) hit the under at a higher rate than the Magic.

Grizzlies vs Warriors Public-Betting Splits
The Grizzlies vs Warriors betting splits show similar trends as Hawks/Magic when it comes to the moneyline and spread. The public loves the home favorite to win outright, putting 62% of moneyline handle and a massive 86% of moneyline bets on Golden State. But, against the spread, the splits are almost even. Currently, the Warriors are getting 51% of ATS handle on exactly 50% of the ATS tickets, leaving Memphis with 49% of ATS handle on the other 50% of wagers.
Golden State covered 51.9% of its games this season against the spread (41-38-3 ATS), slightly better than Memphis at 50.6% (41-40 ATS).
Where the two games differ drastically is on the total. While the public loves the over in Hawks/Magic, the under is getting all the attention in Grizzlies/Warriors. So far, 86% of game-total handle and 89% of game-total tickets are on under 228.0.
Grizzlies vs Warriors was dead-even with a 41-41 O/U record. Memphis hit the over a profitable 56.1%, going 46-35 O/U.
