Already without Giannis Antetokounmpo due to a calf issue, the injury situation for the Milwaukee Bucks (50-35, 18-23 away, 37-47-1 ATS) has gone from bad to worse as Damian Lillard has been ruled out with an Achilles injury. Down 2-1 to the Indiana Pacers (49-36, 27-15 home, 45-37-3 ATS) in the best-of-seven series, the Bucks will need their secondary scorers to come up huge in Game 4 on Sunday night to avoid falling in a 3-1 hole.
The Bucks vs Pacers Game 4 odds are not optimistic about Milwaukee’s chances, though. The Bucks are listed asten-point underdogs, which is the biggest spread of the 2024 playoffs outside of the Celtics/Heat series.

Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Milwaukee Bucks | +10 (-110) | +320 | Over 216.5 (-110) |
Indiana Pacers | -10 (-110) | -410 | Under 216.5 (-110) |
Sunday’s NBA odds list the Pacers as -410 on the moneyline with the Bucks at +320 to level the series at two games apiece. The game total is sitting at 216.5, down significantly from the Game 2 and 3 total of 223.5.

After opening as +265 underdogs to advance to the second round of the NBA playoff bracket, the Pacers are now -550 favorites to beat the Bucks. The winner of Indiana vs Milwaukee will face the winner of the New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers series in round two.
Pacers Eke Out Game 3 in Overtime
After a dominant Game 2 victory in Milwaukee (125-108), the Pacers needed overtime to take a 2-1 lead on Friday. The Bucks and Pacers battled to a 111-111 tie after 48 minutes before a Tyrese Haliburton and-one with 1.1 seconds on the clock gave Indiana the win.

Myles Turner had a team-high 29 points in the win while Haliburton had a huge triple-double (18 points, 16 assists, 10 rebounds). Four of five Indiana starters had at least eight rebounds as the Pacers finished +7 on the glass.
The good news on the Milwaukee side is that Khris Middleton had his best game of the entire season, arguably. Middleton dropped a game-high 42 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out five dimes. Lillard added 28 points but was only 6-of-20 from the floor and 12-of-12 from the free-throw line.
Middleton has also landed on Milwaukee’s injury report with a right ankle sprain, but is listed as probable.
Bennedict Mathurin, who’s out for the season due to shoulder surgery, remains the only player on the Pacers’ injury report.

NBA player props from from DraftKings on April 28.
The NBA player props for Game 4 have some intriguing lines. With Giannis and Lillard out, Khris Middleton’s total for Game 4 has shot up from 18.5 to 26.5, while Bobby Portis has gone from 17.5 to 20.5.
On the Indiana side, Pascal Siakam once again has the highest point total at 25.5, followed by Myles Turner at 20.5.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers Prediction
This is a massive spread for a postseason game. The Pacers are not playing the same run-and-gun style that led to them averaging an NBA-high 123.3 PPG in the regular season. The first three games of the series have averaged 219.3 points in regulation, and the Bucks are likely to run a considerably more down-tempo offense without Lillard to rely on.
MIL vs IND picks:
- First half under 110.5 (-108)
- Portis under 20.5 points (-122)
