It’s a win-or-go-home Wednesday in the NBA when the Miami Heat (37-45, 17-23 away) travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls (39-43, 18-23 home) with the loser eliminated from playoff contention. The winner moves on to another must-win vs the Atlanta Hawks for the 8th seed and a date with the Cavaliers in Round 1. For our purposes, I’ve scanned the prop lines for my favorite picks and am sharing below for your betting consideration. Action gets underway at 7:30pm ET from the United Center in Chicago, with ESPN carrying the broadcast.

Heat wing Tyler Herro has the highest scoring total of any player in this one, at 24.5 points. Chicago’s Coby White is the only other player tabbed in the 20+ point plateau, at 22.5 points.

The Bulls’ Josh Giddey has a near triple-double of betting lines for Wednesday, with a scoring line of 17.5, and matching rebound and assist props at 9.5. He’s basically averaged a triple double since March.

Bulls’ big man Nikola Vuceivc has the highest rebounding prop at 10.5, while Bam Adebayo has the same 9.5 rebound line with Giddey.

Heat vs Bulls Prop Bet #1: Josh Giddey Assists

Perhaps a change of scenery was all Josh Giddey needed to unlock his tremendous potential. Dealt from OKC to the Bulls for Alex Caruso, his game has blossomed, particularly in the last six weeks. He averaged 20.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 9.0 assists in March on 49% shooting from the field and 35.7% from distance.

He upped that in his final four games in April, helping lead the Bulls to four straight wins, averaging 20.8 points, 13 rebounds and 10.8 assists, including a blistering 40% from 3-point range.

I’m targeting his assist line for Wednesday, as he’s gone for 10 or more assists in six of his last nine games, missing the Over in two other games by a total of three dimes.

Most importantly, he’s done it to the Heat, twice during his streak. On April 9, he doled out 11 dimes in a 119-111 win, part of a larger 28-point triple double. In the previous matchup, on March 8, he had 12 assists, part of a 26-point triple double, in a Chicago 114-109 win.

I like Giddey to keep the Bulls’ offense on time in this must-win.

  • Heat vs Bulls prop pick: Giddey Over 9.5 assists (+105 at DraftKings)

Heat vs Bulls Prop Bet #2: Andrew Wiggins Points

Andrew Wiggins has done a decent job stepping into the wing role that was vacated in the Jimmy Butler trade, as he’s averaging 19 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 17 games, shooting 45.8% from the field and 36% from 3-point range.

But lately, his scoring has taken a dip. And wouldn’t you know it: the postseason is here, and Wiggins — save for his critical work in helping deliver a title to the Warriors — doesn’t exactly rise to the occasion in the playoffs.

44.9% / 35.6%FG/3-PT%46.2% / 32.1%

In his final four games of the regular season, Wiggins went Under his 18.5 scoring line set against the Bulls, averaging just 12.5 points on just 35.8% shooting from the field.

YouTube video

Wiggins has topped this total once as a member of a Heat against these same Bulls, going for 22 in their March 8 matchup. However, that’s the lone time he’s scored 19 or more points against the Bulls in his last seven.

I’ll happily stay on trend for this prop.

  • Heat vs Bulls prop pick: Wiggins Under 18.5 points (-110 at DraftKings)
