Memphis Grizzlies vs Indiana Pacers Prediction

  • Grizzlies vs Pacers pick: Grizzlies -2.5 (-110)
  • Grizzlies vs Pacers prop bet: Bane Over 19.5 points (-110)

The Grizzlies are the NBA’s top cover team in non-conference play, going a crisp 16-4-0 against the spread against East teams — no other team is touching that 80% plateau.

Memphis is in the midst of a 5-game road trip, splitting the first two against Phoenix and LA before the all-star game. Overall, they have won three of their last four away from home.

The Grizzlies are basketball’s highest scoring squad, putting up 123.3 points per game, shooting 48.6% from the field and 37.5% from 3-point range, both Top 6 marks in the league.

Memphis is relentless inside, averaging 57.3 points in the paint, second only to the Denver Nuggets. They’re also second in offensive rebounding, a big reason they rank second in second-chance points at 16.9 per contest.

Indiana comes out of the all-star break with a 4-game homestand, but, they will be tested, with the Grizzlies, Clippers and Nuggets coming to town — all teams within the West’s Top 6 — before closing against the lowly Raptors.

The Pacers are capable of putting up points, as they’re ninth in the association at 116 points per game, their defense is right in line with Memphis, as both rank inside the Bottom 10.

Indiana has struggled keeping teams off their boards and from working the restricted area: they surrender 11.2 offensive rebounds and better than 50 points per game in the paint which ranks 25th in the league.

That’s a big reason why Memphis has dominated this head-to-head, winning six of the last seven, and going 7-0-0 ATS. Save for an Indiana win in January 2024, the Grizzlies have won every other meeting by at least 12 points, with an average margin of victory of 20.2 points.

The Grizzlies are also the NBA’s best bet on the road, going 24-11-0 ATS, a sharp 68.6% conversion rate.

With both teams’ rotations healthy and rested, Memphis shouldn’t have an issue staying on this current trend.
