The Cleveland Cavaliers (32-22, 10-16 away) hit the road Saturday for an Eastern Conference meeting with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers (25-29, 17-11 home) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The tip-off is scheduled for 5 pm ET. Continue reading for the Cavaliers vs Pacers odds.
The Cavs are coming off a statement victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday where Donovan Mitchell and Dillon Brooks got into a scuffle that undoubtedly turned up the heat. As for Indy, they took down the Sacramento Kings Friday, with Haliburton getting revenge on his former team.
Cavaliers vs Pacers Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cleveland Cavaliers | -4 (-110) | -175 | OFF |
Indiana Pacers | +4 (-110) | +150 | OFF |
Odds as of February 4th at DraftKings.
Cleveland is laying four points with moneyline odds of -175. They’re just 22-18-2 as an ATS favorite. The Pacers are 20-19 as an ATS underdog.
In two meetings in 2022-23, both teams have grabbed a win each.

Cavaliers Need Consistency
There is no question that the Cavs are one of the best teams on paper in the league. They’ve got a fantastic starting five and a phenomenal head coach in JB Bickerstaff. But, consistency has been an issue for Cleveland this season.
They’ve enjoyed winning streaks, and then just days later will go absolutely cold. Also, the squad is 22-6 at home but only 10-16 on the road. That is a problem.
On a more positive note, Thursday’s win against a gritty Memphis team showcased their depth. The Cavs led for nearly the entire contest and shot the lights out of the gym, draining 48% of their triples and shooting 54% from the field.
Donovan Mitchell on Dillon Brooks: "Quite frankly, I've been busting his ass for years. Playoffs, regular season…it's tough when you can't guard somebody & you got to resort to that & that's what he's done to a lot of players."pic.twitter.com/SBi4sC5nVG

The most impressive part? Mitchell was ejected for the Brooks incident and had just six points at the time of his departure. Darius Garland instead took the bull by the horns, erupting for 32.
In fact, six different players compiled a minimum of 12 points. Knowing Cleveland can still win ballgames even when Spida has an off night is huge. Now, it’s time to find a victory away from home on Saturday.
Pacers Back in Business
The Pacers have felt the absence of their best player.
When Haliburton was sidelined, Indiana went 1-9. They couldn’t win a game to save their lives. And while Indy blew a late lead in his return and fell to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the week, Rick Carlisle’s squad bounced back Friday.
Haliburton actually didn’t play the hero here. Sure, he had 10 points and nine dimes against his ex-club, but instead, it was a collective effort. Buddy Hield, who was also involved in last year’s blockbuster trade, led the charge with 21 points, 10 boards, and six assists, while big man Myles Turner poured in 14 and grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Pacers are just half a game out of the final play-in spot right now and trail the sixth-place Miami Heat by only 4.5 games, too. With Haliburton on the court again, Indy will be looking to get back on track. The sky is the limit for this young team, as long as their floor general is healthy.
Cavaliers vs Pacers Prediction
Before the loss in late December, the Cavs had won five in a row against the Pacers. Personally, I think you’ll see them take down Indiana. No chance Spida has another cold night, too. Take Cleveland to cover.
Pick: Cavaliers -4 (-110)
