UFC 314 blasts off tonight (Saturday, April 12) from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The main event sees former featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski battle dangerous Brazilian finisher Diego Lopes for the vacant 145-pound title.
In the co-main, Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett square off in a bout guaranteed to deliver explosive action. The main card also features the long-awaited UFC debut of Bellator legend Patricio Pitbull against Yair Rodriguez.
But before we get to our final predictions, here’s a look at the latest UFC 314 odds for the main card matchups:
Updated UFC 314 Odds – Main Card
The odds have shifted slightly in favor of Volkanovski and Pimblett in their respective main and co-main event matchups. Meanwhile, Patricio Pitbull has seen his underdog odds improve from +160 to +130 for his UFC debut against Yair Rodriguez.

Final UFC 314 Predictions
Now that we’ve seen how the odds have shifted and where the sharp money is potentially going, here is a look at my final UFC 314 predictions for the main card.
Top Pick: Volkanovski vs Lopes Goes Over 3.5 Rounds (-175)
Volk’s championship experience, cardio, and all-around game give him the edge the longer this one goes. Despite Lopes’ dangerous finishing ability early, expect the former champ to weather the storm and take over in the championship rounds.
While Volkanovski’s moneyline has jumped from -148 to -162, the smarter play is betting the over 3.5 rounds at -175. Volk has only been stopped twice in his career, never at featherweight, and his iron chin should hold up just fine. Look for him to make those classic mid-fight adjustments to turn the tide on Lopes.
Best Bet: Paddy Pimblett Beats Chandler by Submission (+225)
The odds on Paddy have gotten a bit steeper, moving from -148 to -166, but there’s still plenty of value on the scouser here. At 30, Pimblett is hitting his physical prime and has looked absolutely killer going 6-0 in the UFC.
His slick submission game poses a major threat to Chandler, whose wild brawling style often leaves him wide open. After eating those bombs from Oliveira and a long layoff, the 38-year-old Chandler’s durability is a major question mark heading into this firefight
Look for Paddy to capitalize on a fading Chandler in the later rounds, likely locking up a submission that cements his superstar status.
Value Play: Patricio Pitbull (+130) Upsets Yair Rodriguez
The former Bellator featherweight champ finally makes his UFC debut at 37. While he’s not in his prime anymore, Pitbull’s wealth of big-fight experience, complete skillset, and sneaky power make him a live dog. Rodriguez shines at range with flashy striking but struggles when pressured.
Expect the savvy vet Pitbull to close the distance, mix in some timely takedowns, and win over the judges with cleaner, more impactful moments.
At +130 odds, up from +160 when lines opened, Pitbull is worth a shot to pull off the upset in a close fight. The sharp money is clearly backing the veteran tonight, and I can see why.
Other UFC 314 Main Card Predictions & Best Bets:
- Jean Silva (-198) keeps rolling with KO of Bryce Mitchell; bet fight under 2.5 rounds (-135)
- Nikita Krylov (-155) stops Dominick Reyes comeback; go with fight ends inside distance (-155)
Silva’s been putting guys to sleep since day one in the UFC, making highlight reels with those explosive hands. Mitchell’s grappling is no joke, but Silva’s shown he can stuff takedowns and keep it standing where he wants it. Don’t blink when those Brazilian uppercuts start flying – Thug Nasty might be looking up at the lights early.
After some brutal KO losses to the light heavyweight elite, Dominick Reyes hopes to resurrect his career by dropping to middleweight. But he’s got a tough customer in well-rounded finisher Nikita Krylov. The Ukrainian’s heavy hands and grappling pressure should overwhelm a diminished Reyes for an early stoppage.
UFC 314 is stacked from top to bottom with intriguing matchups. Enjoy the fights and best of luck with your wagers! Check out expert best ufc betting apps in 2025 if you’re looking to get in on the action.
