The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) remains in Las Vegas, Nevada, this Saturday (Sep. 12) for UFC Vegas 10.
In the main event, ranked strawweights collide as Michelle Waterson battles Angela Hill. Glover Teixeira vs Thiago Santos was the main event but Teixeira tested positive for COVID-19 leading to the bout being canceled. Even though this fight was only promoted to the main event on a week’s notice, it will be five rounds, something we don’t see often with short-notice main events.
The co-main event sees Khama Worthy take on the undefeated Ottman Azaitar at lightweight. The UFC Vegas 10 main card airs live on ESPN+ at 8:00 pm ET. The table below shows odds for the main card at FanDuel and DraftKings, followed by best bets for the event.

How Will Five-Round Fight Affect Waterson vs Hill?
A five-round fight should improve Michelle Waterson’s chance to win, given that she has headlined a couple of UFC shows in the past. She even went the full 25 minutes against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, a former champion, last October.
Waterson & Hill Recent Fights
Carla Esparza, loss by decision | Fight 1 | Claudia Gadelha, loss by decision |
Joanna Jedrzejczyk, loss by decision | Fight 2 | Loma Lookboonmee, win by decision |
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, win by decision | Fight 3 | Hannah Cifers, win by TKO |
Felice Herrig, win by decision | Fight 4 | Ariane Carnelossi, win by TKO |
Both Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill are elite strikers which should make for a fun fight. However, lately, Waterson has been utilizing her ground game and having success. She told SBD about a week ago that she knows she has a clear advantage when this fight hits the mat.

Expect Hill, a volume striker, to come out strong and likely win the first and second rounds while Waterson tries to feel her out. In the third, “The Karate Hottie” will start to take over due to her superior cardio. Waterson will start to land takedowns and Hill won’t be able to get back up, allowing Waterson to grind out a decision win.
If this was a three-round fight, Hill would be the pick, but the extra two rounds tilt the balance towards Waterson.
Pick: Michelle Waterson (+122)

Is the Hype of Khama Worthy Real?
Ottman Azaitar vs. Khama Worthy has Fight of the Night written all over it. Both men are powerful strikers who prefer to stand and bang until someone falls over. Azaitar did just that in his UFC debut while Worthy has pulled off two big upsets (+640 and +205) in his first two UFC appearances.
Azaitar & Worthy Recent Fights
[matchup teamone='Azaitar' teamtwo='Worthy']
Teemu Packalen, win by KO | Fight 1 | Luis Pena, win by submission |
Danijel Kokora, win by KO | Fight 2 | Devonte Smith, win by KO |
Alejandro Martinez, win by TKO | Fight 3 | Adam Ward, win by KO |
Charlie Leary, win by TKO | Fight 4 | Joey Munoz, win by decision |
Ever since Worthy moved up to lightweight in 2018 – following a knockout loss to Kyle Nelson, who also competes on this card – he is a perfect 7-0. But that zero is at real risk of becoming a one against Ottman Azaitar.

Worthy’s striking game has holes and he has been knocked out in five of his six losses. Azaitar, meanwhile, is a better striker and hits with more power. Azaitar will land something big in the first or second round to remain undefeated.
Pick: Ottman Azaitar (+120)
Other UFC Vegas 10 Picks:
- Andrea Lee (-305): Lee lost by split decision Modafferi back in 2014. Expect Lee to right that wrong with a decision win here.
- Mike Rodriguez (-265): Rodriguez is turning around just three weeks after his last fight. He will have a massive size advantage and has a good chance to get a TKO win or clear-cut decision.
- Billy Quarantillo (-220): Quarantillo will avoid the power of Nelson in the first round using his wrestling and eventually get a submission or TKO win in the second.
