Adesanya vs Imavov Prediction

“The Last Stylebender” returns to the octagon after a seven-month hiatus at UFC Fight Night 250. Israel Adesanya remains one of the most lethal and entertaining fighters in all of MMA.

A deadly knockout artist, Adesanya aims to get back into the middleweight title conversation with a win on Saturday. The now 35-year-old has dropped three of his past five fights since winning 11-of-12 bouts to begin his UFC career. Israel’s dizzying area of unorthodox striking has befuddled even the greatest UFC middleweights of his generation.

Opposite Izzy in the cage in Riyadh will be Dagestani-born Imavov. “The Sniper” has gone 7-2-1 in his UFC career, with three straight victories in the Octagon. Impressively, Imavov boasts a victory over Joaquin Buckley and lost a close decision to Sean Strickland in early 2023.

Adesanya will have something creative up his sleeve in the UFC Fight Night 250 main event. He’ll aim to control the distance and pick apart Imavov with his superior and precise striking. For Imavov, the gameplan is clear. The larger Russian-born grappler will look to pressure Adesanya early and throw off his timing. Imavov needs to land some early takedowns and force the former champ into a grappling battle.

Ultimately, Imavov is a dangerous opponent with the skills necessary to hurt Adesanya. However, Izzy’s experience, striking precision, and ability to counter will give him the edge in the main event. Look for Adesanya to fire away and land a decisive decision victory.

  • Pick: Israel Adesanya by decision (+140)

Magomedov vs Page Prediction

Explosive middleweight strikers Shara Magomedov and Michael Page go to war in the UFC Fight Night 250 co-main event. Magomedov vs Page has fight of the night written all over it.

Russian-born Magomedov has won an impressive 20 straight fights to begin his MMA career. Four of those have come in the UFC, including a stunning double spinning backfist knockout of Armen Petrosyan is his last bout at UFC 308.

Magomedov is a ferocious knockout artist with devastating power in both his hands and feet. His aggressive striking and relentless pressure is a nightmare for opponents’. With 12 career knockout victories, Magomedov will be eager to add Michael Page to his list of trophies.

Meanwhile, Page will aspire to halt the Russian phenom’s rise through the UFC’s middleweight division. An accomplished, veteran striker, the former Bellator champ is one of the most unique strikers in MMA history. His elusive movement and unpredictable attacks have left more than a few opponents knocked out cold in the cage.

At 37, “MVP” needs to use his reach and movement to frustrate Magomedov and look to catch him with a counter. However, Magomedov’s power and relentless pressure will be a real problem. Bet on Magomedov’s ascending skills to win out in the UFC Fight Night 250 co-main event.

  • Pick Shara Magomedov by KO (+310)
