Fight Record and Recent History
Lee (17-4) is coming off of a decision loss to Al Iaquinta at UFC on Fox 31 back in December. There, Lee was looking to win the rematch against Iaquinta but “Raging Al” picked apart Lee from start to finish which resulted in the win.
Before that, Lee beat Edson Barboza by TKO to get back into the win column after losing an interim lightweight title fight to Tony Ferguson. The 26-year-old has notable wins over the likes of Michael Chiesa, Francisco Trinaldo, and Jake Matthews, among others.
dos Anjos (28-11) is riding a two-fight losing streak after losing to Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington in his last two fights.
dos Anjos (28-11) is riding a two-fight losing streak after losing to Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington in his last two fights. Before that, the Brazilian beat Robbie Lawler, Neil Magny and Tarec Saffiedine in his first three welterweight fights.
The former champ also holds wins over the likes of Anthony Pettis, Nate Diaz, Donald Cerrone, twice, and Benson Henderson. He has also lost to the likes of Ferguson, Eddie Alvarez, and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

There is a clear path to victory in Kevin Lee in this fight. He has a reach advantage, and in dos Anjos’ past two losses he was outwrestled which is what “Motown Phenom’s” strength is. At welterweight, he should be bigger, faster, and stronger not having to cut those extra 15 pounds.

For Lee, he needs to get inside and take this fight to that mat to win the fight. For dos Anjos, if he can do what Iaquinta did, which was just pick apart Lee on the feet, he should have a good night. However, I think the move to welterweight will benefit Lee and he will win the fight.
Pick: Kevin Lee (-105)
Neil Magny vs Vicente Luque Odds

Neil Magny | +350 | +385 |
Vicente Luque | -500 | -500 |
Fight Record and Recent History
Magny (21-7) is coming off of a knockout loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio back in November. Before that, the 31 year old beat Craig White by knockout and Carlos Condit by decision. However, the American just hasn’t been able to string multiple wins together to be a top-10 welterweight. But, Magny does hold notable wins over the likes of Kelvin Gastelum, Tim Means, and Johnny Hendricks.
Luque (15-6-1) is coming off of what very well may be the “Fight of the Year” back in February. He went back and forth with Bryan Barberena and knocked him out with just six seconds left. The win extended his winning streak to four, which includes Jalin Turner, Chad Laprise, and Niko Price.
He also holds wins over the likes of Belal Muhammad and a knockout win over Thiago Santos — who is set to fight Jon Jones — in the Brazilian regional scenes.

There is a reason why Luque is a massive favorite in this fight. In my opinion, this is a setup fight for Luque to enter the rankings and start to work his way up to the top. Luque is one of the most entertaining fighters on the roster and has incredible knockout power.
But, if Magny fights smart he can still win this fight. He needs to use his length and not allow Luque to get inside. However, I don’t see that happening and I believe Luque will knock Magny out.
Pick: Luque (-500)
