Bellator’s lightweight champion has been flawless with the promotion so far, going 5-0 and looking like the future face of MMA. Nurmagomedov, the cousin of former UFC great Khabib, has finished three of his Bellator fights and has clearly been the better fighter every time he’s set foot in the cage.

Apparently sportsbooks agree, as Nurmagomedov has been installed as a huge -2100 favorite over former UFC champion Benson Henderson.

The 39-year old hasn’t looked as “Smooth” lately. However, Henderson has won two straight fights after going through the first three-fight losing streak of his career.

While Henderson presents an interesting challenge, Nurmagomedov is on his way to superstardom.

The 24-year old may be the future pound-for-pound king, and is the more well-rounded fighter at this stage in their careers’. While the American should make this a competitive bout, his best years are far behind him. Bet on Nurmagomedov to finish this fight with confidence.
