The main event of UFC Fight Night 147 (a.k.a. UFC London) sees Darren Till taking on Jorge Masvidal. The winner is expected to fight Ben Askren, in what could very well be a title eliminator. The card also sees another important welterweight fight in Leon Edwards taking on Gunnar Nelson.

Here are two prop bets I’m most confident in.
1) The Main event goes the distance
Will Masvidal vs Till go the distance? | Odds |
---|---|
Yes | -120 |
No | -120 |
The odds are the same for if the fight goes to the distance or not for a reason. The fight could very well end in a knockout.
However, Masvidal has shown time and time again he is a hard fighter to finish. His last nine losses are all by decision; he hasn’t been stopped since 2009.
I’m predicting Till to win, as are most prognosticators, and the most likely method for a Till victory is a judges’ decision, similar in nature to his win over Stephen Thompson last May.
2) Darren Till’s Method of Victory
Method of victory for Darren Till vs Jorge Masvidal | Odds |
---|---|
KO/TKO/Submission/DQ | +155 |
Decision | +160 |
This is positively correlated with the prop above, obviously. As mentioned earlier, I see Till winning in much the same way he won the Thompson fight, but with a few more punches thrown.

Till has shown in the past he can put together a solid gameplan, and that is exactly what he will do against Masvidal. The Englishman will once again win on home soil, and will once again need to go to the scorecards.
