So, if there are five home runs in the game you will come out roughly even regardless of whether the player you picked hits a home run.
However, five homers in a game is extremely rare so don’t expect this to be a winning long-term play unless you’re making smart picks with your qualifying wager.
Home Run Best Bet for April 26
On that note, one player to target to go deep on Tuesday is Toronto’s Bo Bichette. The 24-year-old has smacked two dingers already this season, and draws a very favorable matchup against Boston’s Nick Pivetta.

Bichette has crushed versus Pivetta in his young career, going 8-for-17 (.471) with two homers. Pivetta has already served up four home runs in 13.2 innings pitched in 2022, and has struggled to keep the ball in the yard throughout his career.
Pivetta has coughed up on average over 1.9 home runs per 9 innings twice in his past three seasons, and is currently on pace for a 3.09 HR/9 rate in 2022. The league average this year for what it’s worth, is just 0.9.
The Red Sox vs Jays matchup is one of the few on Tuesday’s slate with a total above 8 runs, and the Rogers Center is traditionally one of the most hitter friendly parks in baseball. Oh and by the way, no MLB team has gone deep more this season than Toronto.
