Brewers vs Reds Probable Pitchers
It should be a hot night in Cincinnati with a forecasted high temperature of 92 degrees at first pitch with a low of 65 along with clear skies and northeast wind at 3-6 mph.
Corbin Burnes (4-4, 3.68) is scheduled to start for the Brewers against rookie left-hander Brandon Williamson (0-1, 5.02). Both will be pitching on five days of rest.

Burnes has struggled lately, going 0-2 with a 4.50 ERA in his last three starts. However, he did pitch well in a no-decision last Saturday against the San Francisco Giants when he gave up only one run and four hits in seven innings with eight strikeouts and three walks.
Burnes, whose NL Cy Young odds are +4500, has pitched well in his career against the Reds with a 2-1 record and 2.53 ERA in 14 games (four starts).
In five road starts this year, Burnes is 2-3 with a 3.26 ERA. He has a 4-3 record and a 2.76 ERA in seven starts at night. Burnes has notched six quality starts this season, but the Brewers are just 5-6 when the 2021 NL Cy Young Award pitches.

In Williamson’s last outing, he allowed four runs in 4.1 innings in a no-decision against the Cubs last Saturday at Chicago. He yielded six hits while striking out three and walking three.
All three of Williamson’s starts have come at night. In his lone start at Great American Ball Park, he was touched for four runs (three earned) in 4.1 innings while not factoring in the decision against the St. Louis Cardinals on May 22.
