Weekends have to come to an end, and that’s exactly what last weekend did today. Even though we knew it was coming, it still hurts when it happens. Lucky for us, MLB has given us eight games to watch throughout the course of the day, so we’re all set. All we need to do to wipe our tears away is find three guys that we know for a fact are hitting home runs tonight. If we’re right on all three, we’re going to stuff so much cash in our pockets that we’ll never have a weekend end again. It’s always the weekend for rich people. Just ask them. They’ll tell you.

Lucky for us, I found three guys who are all Circle of Trust-worthy. We’re all going to be rich (probably).

Monday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Jake Burger to Hit a Home Run

We need a guy we can trust leading this thing off, and that guy just might be Jake Burger. He checks all of the boxes. Big dude, that hits bombs. Not only that, but at the moment, he’s ball is leaving his bat at 100+ MPH every single time he swings. He’s perfect.

On top of all that, the pitch mix he’s going to see tonight just works for him.

Calling home runs is tough, as we all know, but we can rest easy knowing Jake is going to see JP Sears tonight. People seem to think JP is some bum but he actually isn’t. In a turn of events, he might actually be good. Still, his four-seamer is a pimp job giver and our guy Jake crushes four-seamers from lefties. This feels free.

Monday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Marcell Ozuna to Hit a Home Run

Sticking with the righty boppers, how about Marcell Ozuna? We need a big dude swinging a hot bat right now and Marcell looks like he fits that description. If you don’t think so, go back and watch his home run from the other night. The guy hit the ball 440+ feet. Could have killed someone in the stands.

Now, fast forward to tonight, and we’ve got another such opportunity for fireworks.

Ozuna is a very streaky guy, so it’s good to get on him after he’s hit a missile. He’s a candidate to see a four-seam fastball from Ryan Feltner tonight, which could end up in a fan’s glove. Feltner throws the four-seamer almost 40% of the time to righties so Ozuna knows he can wait on one. My guess is, Feltner gets behind in a count and tries to throw his way out. It won’t end well for him.

Monday HR Parlay Leg #3 – Spencer Torkelson to Hit a Home Run

Finally, the last leg of this thing is the newest member of the Circle of Trust, Spencer Torkelson. He’s been scratching on the door, trying his hardest to get in, but he finally made it a couple of weeks ago with a moonshot. All it takes is one swing to get in this thing and Spencer made the most of his opportunity.

After looking at Ronel Blanco’s pitch mix, I don’t think Spencer is done.

The theme for tonight’s parlay is four-seam fastball. We’ve got three guys who can lose baseballs when they see that pitch, and Spencer is no different. Blanco really isn’t a guy I like to target with righties, but he can be had by them. Given what Torkelson has been doing in terms of exit velocity lately, he’s the obvious candidate in the Detroit lineup. My guess is he puts one in the seats in his first at bat to give us all a street free dinger night. Feels right.
