We were right there again last night, just three guys short of completing our parlay mission. It was a tough Thursday slate that saw mainly randos go yard, so the odds were against us. Luckily, that won’t be the case tonight. For starters, we’ve got a giant slate with every team playing. More teams playing means more dinger opportunities. We can thank math for that little nugget.

On top of that, we’ve got Circle of Trust guys going up against absolute pinatas. We’re talking dinger pitchers with little to no support coming out of the bullpen behind them. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but this could easily be the greatest night of our lives. Maybe better.

Just a reminder, we’re betting each guy straight for a 1/4 unit as well as parlaying all three for a 1/4 unit.

Friday HR Parlay Leg #1 – Tyler Soderstrom to Hit a Home Run

We’ve come too far to quit this guy now. Over the last three days, he’s done nothing but almost hit a home run in every game. In the first one, it was a 397-foot flyout. The next night, we saw a 376-foot double. Last night it was a 384-foot flyout. The guy is smoking the ball and has nothing to show for it.

Lucky for Soderstrom and us, he’s got a pretty sweet pitch mix waiting for him tonight.

Tyler is going to see Sean Burke tonight, who has been hit very hard so far this season. The guy has a 17% barrel rate so far, which we don’t see often. I know the haters are going to say righties smoke this guy more, but they’re forgetting that lefties like Soderstrom crank this guy too. Our boy Tyler is in a groove right now, so we can’t come off of him until we get paid off. It wouldn’t be right.

Friday HR Parlay Leg #2 – Matt Olson to Hit a Home Run

Matt Olson is another Circle of Trust guy that we can’t forget about. Especially on a night like tonight. I get that he hasn’t lit the world on fire with his home run total so far this season, but whatever. The man has 12 barrels so far this season. He’s going to put balls over the fence. It’s just a matter of time.

My guess is, he’ll start putting more balls in fans’ gloves when he sees pitch mixes like the one he’ll see tonight.

Normally, we don’t target Zac Gallen, but we shouldn’t be scared of this guy anymore. He’s already given up five home runs in just 27 innings of work so far. To put that into perspective, he only gave up 13 last year in 148 innings. Whatever is wrong with him, I doubt he fixed it since his last start. Olson could hit one to Mexico off of him tonight. Feels right.

Friday HR Parlay Leg #3 – Salvador Perez to Hit a Home Run

Before the haters even start, I know this game is in Kansas City in the worst park for home runs. I know. I have no idea why any team would want to play in a place that discourages dingers but I’m not in charge. If I was, the first thing we’d do is move the outfield walls in 20 feet. Let the boys rip.

With all that being said, there is one man who can reach the seats in Kansas City, and his name is Salvador Perez.

The only thing I’m not totally sure of is the fact that the Royals just played two games yesterday. Still, Perez demolished the ball yesterday so he’s seeing it well. On top of that, he’s got Hayden Wesneski, who has been pulverized so far this season. If he throws Perez a four-seamer anywhere near the middle of the plate, a fan in the parking lot could receive a gift. Feels easy.
