All odds as of April 20th.

Prop #1: Julio Urias Under 6.5 Strikeouts

The first player prop to attack is the under on LA’s Julio Urias’ strikeouts. The 24-year-old has failed to exceed this total in all three starts this season, and has never produced a double-digit K/9 rate in six seasons. That’s significant because he’s also never exceeded 7 innings in a start, and has only pitched a full 7 innings once.

He’s allowing a hard hit rate of 30.5% this season, the highest mark of his career, while producing a swinging strike rate of only 12.3%. That spells trouble against the surprising Seattle Mariners, who are off an AL West best 11-6 start. They’ve won five of six, including on Monday over the Dodgers, and are averaging the sixth most runs per game in the AL.

Pick: Julio Urias Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-134)

Prop #2: DJ LeMahieu 2+ Hits

The New York Yankees will look to snap a four-game losing streak on Tuesday when they face the Atlanta Braves, and in order to do so they’ll need to make some adjustments at the plate. New York has scored three or fewer runs in five straight and have a -9 run differential.

One of the few consistent performers in the lineup has been DJ LeMahieu, and he just happens to boast a solid history versus Atlanta starter Charlie Morton. LeMahieu is 7-for-20 lifetime against Morton, and has produced two multi-hit games in his past four outings. Overall, he’s reached base in all but two games this season, and has at least two hits on five separate occasions.

Pick: DJ LeMahieu 2+ Hits (+170)
