White Sox vs Tigers Series Price
Team | White Sox vs Tigers Series Price |
---|---|
Chicago White Sox | +115 |
Detroit Tigers | -135 |
*All odds taken April 18
The Chicago White Sox will be looking to win three straight series for the first time since last August when they open a four-game road set with the Detroit Tigers on Thursday night.
The White Sox saw a three-game win streak snapped with a 4-3 extra-innings loss to the visiting Kansas City Royals as a +100 bet on Wednesday, in a game marred by a bench-clearing fracas after White Sox slugger Tim Anderson was intentionally hit by a pitch in a response to his enthusiastic bat flip that accompanied an earlier home runs.
However, Chicago has taken two of three in each of its past two series, including last weekend’s visit to Yankee Stadium.

The Tigers return home after dropping a 3-2 decision in Pittsburgh on Wednesday as a +100 bet, extending their current losing streak to five games.
Detroit opened the season on a tear, surrendering fewer than three runs per game during an 8-4 run. But the Tigers have struggled to generate offense during their current slide, tallying just 2.4 runs per game, and have gone a meagre 2-5 in their past seven home dates with the White Sox.
Pick: White Sox (+115)
Royals vs Yankees Series Price
Team | Royals vs Yankees Series Price |
---|---|
Kansas City Royals | +290 |
New York Yankees | -350 |
Fresh off their 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox as -120 road chalk on Wednesday, the Royals travel to New York in search of just their second road win of the season.
Kansas City is off to a dismal start to the MLB campaign, compiling a 6-12 record, marked by a 10-game losing streak during the first two weeks of the schedule.
The Royals dropped two of three in Chicago this week, but have started to find their groove at the plate, averaging 4.8 runs per game while going 4-6 over their past 10 outings.
Yost says this three-game sweep shows what kind of team the #Royals can be: "We're a better team than a 10-game losing streak showed." #Royals pic.twitter.com/23I9vPDEYK

The Yankees continue a nine-game home stand after sweeping the struggling Boston Red Sox in a two-game set to mark their first home series win of the season.
New York has been a disappointment early on, stumbling to an 8-9 record, including a 5-6 mark on home turf. However, a visit from the Royals may prove to be a tonic for the Yankees, who have taken 18 of 24 from Kansas City since May 2015, including a 12-3 run in head-to-head matchups in the Bronx.
Pick: Yankees (-350)
Dodgers vs Brewers Series Price
Team | Dodgers vs Brewers Series Price |
---|---|
Los Angeles Dodgers | -125 |
Milwaukee Brewers | +105 |
The top two teams in the National League clash this week as the Milwaukee Brewers host the Los Angeles Dodgers in a four-game set at Miller Park.
The Brewers continued their strong play at home this week, taking two of three from the division rival St. Louis Cardinals, but closed out the series on a losing note, falling 6-3 to the Cards as-135 chalk in Wednesday’s finale.
Powered by reigning MVP Christian Yelich, who currently leads the NL in home runs and RBI, Milwaukee is 7-3 at home this season, and will be looking to avenge its heartbreaking loss to the Dodgers in last fall’s NLCS.
#Brewers continue to embarrass #StLCards & NL Central; 10-2 against Cubs, StL, Reds
2-4 vs #Dodgers
5-1 vs overmatched StL – inexplicable still pitching to Yelich in critical situations; 8 HR in 6 gms vs StL
Can’t simply tip cap when he only does it to 1 team

The Dodgers open a seven-game road trip in Milwaukee riding a four-game win streak after sweeping the woeful Cincinnati Reds earlier this week.
However, the NL West leaders have been streaky in a pair of road series this season, taking three in Colorado before getting swept in a four-game series in St. Louis.
The Dodgers also dropped two of three at home to the Brewers last weekend, but are 8-4 in 12 regular-season contests at Miller Park, with the OVER also going 8-4 during that stretch.
Pick: Brewers (+105)
Phillies vs Rockies Series Price
Team | Phillies vs Rockies Series Price |
---|---|
Philadelphia Phillies | -110 |
Colorado Rockies | -110 |
Bryce Harper will be looking to extend his hitting streak at Coors Field to seven games when he leads the Philadelphia Phillies into a four-game weekend set with the struggling Colorado Rockies.
Harper has gone 13-for-27 with five extra-base hits during his current tear in the Mile High City, but is off to a middling start in his Phillies debut, batting .262 with just four home runs through his first 17 games.
That has not slowed down the 11-6 Phillies, who lead the NL East and have scored 31 total runs in just five road games to date.

The Rockies return home riding their first three-game win streak after sweeping San Diego in a brief two-game series, but remain winless at home after getting outscored by a wide 44-21 margin while going 0-5 over a pair of series with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves.
However, the Rockies dominated the last time these two teams met at Coors Field, outscoring the Phillies 39-7 in a four-game sweep last September, and have not lost a home series to Philadelphia since July 2012.
Pick: Phillies (-110)
Mariners vs Angels Series Price
Team | Mariners vs Angels Series Price |
---|---|
Seattle Mariners | +110 |
Los Angeles Angels | -130 |
The Seattle Mariners are likely happy to hit the road for six-game road trip that starts in Los Angeles on Thursday after going winless during a six-game home stand that ended with a 1-0 loss to the visiting Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.
Seattle averaged just three runs per game during its home stand, including a meager nine total runs over its past five outings. However, the Mariners have been outstanding on the road, going 8-1 and racking up over 8.8 runs per game during a six-game road win streak.
The #Mariners are held scoreless and homer-less for the first time all season, falling 1-0 to Cleveland as their losing streak hits six.

Conversely, the Angels remain buried at the bottom of the AL East after going 1-4 on a road trip that closed out on Wednesday with a 5-4 loss in Texas, but have been solid at home, winning six straight including a three-game sweep of Milwaukee last week.
The Mariners have held the upper hand in meetings between these two clubs, posting wins in six of seven overall, including four of the past five dates at Angel Stadium.
Pick: Angels (-130)
Reds vs Padres Series Price
Team | Reds vs Padres Series Price |
---|---|
Cincinnati Reds | +145 |
San Diego Padres | -165 |
The San Diego Padres will try to get back on track after being swept by the Rockies in a two-game series at PETCO Park as they welcome the basement-dwelling Cincinnati Reds to town for a four-game series this weekend.
The Padres remain neck-and-neck with the Dodgers in the race for the top of the NL West standings, but are currently enduring their first taste of adversity, giving up seven runs per game during a three-game swoon that leaves them with a middling 4-3 home record.
https://twitter.com/daytonflyer2009/status/1118017289448828929
However, the Padres have dominated the Reds in recent home matchups, going 13-5 in 18 meetings in San Diego, with their lone series loss to Cincinnati during that stretch coming over a three-game set back in July 2016.
The Reds limp into San Diego to continue a seven-game road trip after being swept by the Dodgers earlier this week. Cincinnati leads only Miami with five wins on the season, all on home turf, and has been held to three or fewer runs on five occasions while going 0-7 on the road so far in 2019.
Pick: Padres (-165)
