Brooks Koepka is continuing to do what Brooks Koepka does – bludgeon major championships with a dizzying display of golf after his second round 65 gives him a seven shot lead. Tiger Woods, meanwhile, missed the cut in sloppy fashion a month after winning a green jacket.
Koepka has major championship pedigree lurking behind him with the likes of three-time major winner Jordan Spieth, Masters champ Adam Scott & U.S. Open winner Dustin Johnson.
Here’s the updated PGA Championship odds after Round 2.

Brooks Koepka threatening to take stranglehold of PGA Championship
All behemoth Brooks Koepka did in the first round was shoot a blistering course record 7-under 63 then followed that up by posting three birdies in his first four holes Friday to serve notice that he means business and has no qualms shattering records.
Brooks Koepka finishes Round 2 with a 5-under 65.

The only value you somewhat could’ve got on him was wagering on him pre-tournament, but even then it wasn’t amazing odds.
There’s a reason for that – he’s won three of his last seven majors because he’s cold blooded. Bet against Koepka at your peril, but at least you have other luminaries behind him ready to pounce should he shockingly falter.

Jordan Spieth chasing history
We hope you took our advice heading into the second round which was betting Jordan Spieth was a fantastic value at 40-1.

He’s rediscovered his game after a prolonged dry spell which hasn’t seen him post a top-20 on tour for the entire season. Should he chase down Koepka and lift the Wanamaker trophy on Sunday, he’ll find himself in some elite company as just the sixth man to complete the career grand slam.
.@JordanSpieth when opening a major with 2 consecutive rounds in the 60s:
2015 Masters – Won
2015 US Open – Won
2017 Open – Won
2019 PGA – ?— Justin Ray (@JustinRayGolf) May 17, 2019
One ghastly stat to keep in mind, however, is that Spieth is T-193rd in third round scoring & 208th in the final round this season. Has he found his game or will he drop back? I wouldn’t put anything past the 25-year old phenom who will be in the final group with Koepka Saturday.
Best Live Value Picks at 2019 PGA Championship
