The OKC Thunder will have on of its hardest road games in the season when they visit the Denver Nuggets, this Friday night at 10:30 PM ET at the Pepsi center.
The Thunder has won three games in a row, and it seemed as they found their rhythm back. “We are doing great on defense,” Russell Westbrook told the team’s official website.
“We are playing off our defense and getting stops and let the offense take care of itself,” Westbrook added. “It all starts with defense regardless of what we are doing offensively.”
Of course, for the veterans the playing level Kevin Durant has shown this season has been outstanding. “I think Kevin continues to make a concerted effort to be a leader by example in terms of playing the game the right way and not being overly concerned with how many points he scores each night, but really just making the right plays,” Derek Fisher said.
Denver went into Portland and grabbed a complicated win over the Blazers on Wednesday, with Ty Lawson scoring 12 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter. “I tried to get everyone involved, but as the game was coming down and we needed big shots. I just tried to take it to the hole,” Lawson said. “Today, I was knocking ’em down.”
Denver and OKC have exchanged ATS wins over the last four meetings, with the last one coming for the Nuggets. The over has been present in their last two meetings.
